Very nice, great drumming.....and YES I do also play my drums with sheet music too......I love to play as original to the album as possible, you do the same, that is great. Most people think that playing Rock music with sheet music is uncool.
In another life, I'm on the drums - Mitch did it at the time so I don't have to, which is just as well as I'm crap. That said, I've heard some Ker-azy drum covers of this song but yours represents the right kind of mix of slightly-behind-the-beat loose wrists and then using the bounce of the skins in the rolls, to get the proper feel in the rolls about the kit - gurning and all. You've actually listened to the song.
Hey, thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it! I did put in a lot of work to try my best to match Mitch's groove and dynamics in this song. A big key is learning which note to accent and not in those quick fills, along with other subtle nuances. That said, I feel like learning this song note-for-note is imperative in getting a decent cover.
Yes, it's me again. Anyway, did you know there's a Mitch Mitchell Fan Club on facebook and generally on the internet ? I found out about it a few days ago and thought 'that guy needs to join'. They might get a kick out of seeing your tribute, here - i.e. if you posted a link to them. And apparently there's some serious muso guys on there, too..
@@ffibnogab7644 Hey, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately I don't have a Facebook account so feel free to link this video in the group for me! No pressure though.

Thank you for the kind words, and yes totally agree. For a song like this it’s the only way I could play it note-for-note
