- Side note this isn't dunking on the other resident evil games, I love the others, just what makes this one fun seems to have been forgotten by the community. I truly believe without this game there'd be no knife parry in RE4 remake, so I'm glad capcom didn't forget about it.

I really get your points.
When I startet playing re 6 for the plat I got into it with a lot if bad Feelings about it as Inwas told that this game is bad.
However first playing through it was actually Kind of fun, I absolutly love the controlls and that you can just do really cool combos with punching enemys.
However I really dislike Adas campaign.
And thats pretty much only for one reason: the german synchro on Adam voice is terrible. Listen for yourself. Other than that the game is like a fun shooter and if you like These kinds of games I do recommend this game.
Resident evil 2 remake is amazing
I haven't finished it yet but lord it is. The gore is just, chiefs kiss. I love there portrayal of classic Romero zombies in it.
I absolutely love RE6 - it is (along with RE5) my favourite co-op game ever. The only thing i don't like about RE6 is the inventory and how the game heals you automatically on every difficulty except No Hope. I think it really disincetivised players from engaging with the combat mechanics. That's why I always play RE6 on no hope. I actually liked the story - especially Chris' and Jake's campaigns. I cannot stand the fact that the popular opinion is that Leon's part is the best - when that just isn't true. You just know that the people who say that have barely played the game, just dropped it and are parroting the bad opinions everyone else has of this game.
Yeah I always found people calling Leons campaign the best a little weird, the first level can be very hand holdy on repeat playthroughs and the zombies just aren't as fun to fight as the javo.
@@oddbunchyeet28 Yeah - I always skip Leon's intro with the guy and his daughter on repeat playthroughs because it's just a slow walking segment with nothing going on.

I think the dark settings was people were pointing out. This game was overhyped back in the days that why it got the hate
Oh definitely, it was hyped up to be the perfect resident evil, a game for everyone... it was not, but I still think it has merit and is far from a bad game.

Its stock music actually, from a site called productioncreate.com that I use for alot of audio and aftereffects plugins. The song in question is called "Rumble in the sewers" very much a stock name, but yeah it sounds really good for a stock song so thats why I used it XD
I played this game with a good friend and the game was really fun minus the ada campaign, but yeah it was a really fun game, wouldn’t call it a re game tho it was more akin to gears of war
Yeah it does have that gears feel doesn't it. I'm excited to see it remind, cause like I think if they where to remake it they could make it a true resident evil game while also maintaining its quality action gameplay. Regardless I love it.

The story's are terrible, hate that enemies have invincability frames, the gameplay is good, and I love co-op
Enemies don't actually have that many I-frames outside of the odd scripted event. Everything else I agree with.
At least for me, RE6 deserves its bad rating compared to RE7 - I am expecting a horror game, not an action game
I mean thats fair, but in all honesty resident evil was going down the action route in re4 and was an action game in re5. So like, it was just following its own trend.
@@oddbunchyeet28 A lot of people that say that plainly make no sense to me. Because they almost always come across like their perceptions of Resident Evil is this extraordinarily scary franchise where serious horror vibes were always prioritized, despite the fact the developers since the series inception have gone through a lot effort to communicate a more cheesy/b-movie horror vibe through and through, with only ever increasing emphasis on the action horror aspect (which btw is totally a real sub-genre of horror that you're gonna feel hard-pressed when you find out Survival Horror heads refuse to acknowledge it's existence.) :| Before proceeding to use it as a justification for why they're "bad" at horror.
