Sorting my Color Questopia Books | Adult Colouring

I decided to sort all my Color Questopia Books into some kind of order... not sure what kinda order it was in the end but here's my colour questopia collection anyway!

Color Questopia is another one of those very popular companies I just wish I liked more than I do XD Not to be party-pooper here, but I am always a teeny bit jealous when people are a big fans of Color Questopia books (and that's often the case). Even though, I tried several of them, I just don't seem to enjoy any of them so far. But I don't think I have ever seen or met anyone that doesn't like them, so I don't know what's up with me.
I just feel like the quality control with their books could be so much better and the handful pages I colored so far, I really didn't like the colors they had chosen. The books always seem to vary so much in style, lines and feel. I didn't like the white lines (no matter if I colored them in myself or not), while I do like some books like Color Quest Animals, which also have lines like that (but maybe better quality and colors?). Then they released the black background versions and I tried again... still no luck. I just don't like them. So sad :(
Am I missing something maybe?

I know what you mean Astra and, to be honest, they can be a bit hit or miss for me. The first one I got was the Mandala one and I *loved* it. No need to think, colours all there for you, just switch off brain and straight colour.
But, like you say, sometimes the colours are a bit off and, more so lately, the quality is not as good as the first ones I bought. The printing is sometimes seemingly rushed, with errors and misprints, the pictures don’t always seem thought through for black backgrounds suitability (with key lines disappearing etc) and the paper /print quality is definitely not as good as it was.
But… I still enjoy colouring in them, usually when I just want to unwind, not think and see what comes out. And here in the UK, if you buy one in the first 2 weeks of release they cost just £3.50ish, which means it’s not a big spend for a bit of relaxed colouring time. No stress and No worry about wasting a “good” book. But… I don’t think you’re missing anything 😉

Hi Dawn, yes I believe so. Although I sometimes like the bigger colour palette because on occasion you need some more nuanced shades than a standard 24 can give. Basically I like the best of both worlds! 😊
