Hard to decide which is the biggest moron this week, what with all the mirror smashing & fleeing and general angriness at drivers just driving, etc. going on, but I think Street Doom 675R just wins it (at 9:25). He turns left from a right hand lane (that is clearly labelled straight on and right only) and rev bombs a car that is using the lanes correctly. Not one of life's great analytical brains, there.
I mean we don't see the other straight on and right. It looks like he went straight on? And the car "turned" right? Edit: or is it that way in the UK that it is always labeled when you can turn "left" when leaving the roundabout? Hmm yeah that would make sense. So that makes the biker in the wrong, I didn't say anything 😅 I didn't realised that it was a roundabout
@@alexanderjanke1538 At the very beginning of the clip you can see the left lane has a "straight on or left" arrow and the right lane (that the biker is in) has a "straight on or right" arrow. As the bike exited at '10 O'clock', that must be a left turn; you can also just see the straight on (12 O'clock) road as the biker looks at the car at 9:30. Definitely Street Doom is in the wrong.
@@philiprandall1399 I mean you can't see it in the clip, but only that would make sense in a roundabout of corse. You can see the point of the straight arrow, so yes the car was allowed to go straight. Now the clip is absolutely clear to me 👍 why was DOOM so cocky about that when he was the one in the wrong? Isn't that a normal roundabout? You guys have many multi lane roundabouts, they do work mostly the same don't they? Left lane for straight and left, or only left. Right lane for straight and maybe left? Or is it always forbidden and only for straight and "right". Hm no.. That can't be true for all sides of the roundabout, you have to be able to leaf it straight and right, so they are specific 🤔 I am kind of glad that these multi lane roundabouts aren't that common in Germany, we have to many old people driving a car that even have problems with a 1 lane roundabout 🙄 do biker like these 2 or more lane roundabouts? I love roundabouts because you rearly need to fully stop, but the people here aren't ready for it I think 😅
9:26 i did a quick check of the highway code. There is not stated that you have to leave the roundabout when you are on the outer lane. You have to signal when leaving which the audi clearly did not do. So again the biker is in the wrong.
You are incorrect. The right lane (where the biker is) is straight or right. The left lane (where the car is) is left or straight. The biker was exiting at the second exit (straight) which his lane is designed for. The car however proceesded to the 3rd exit (right) which is not allowed from his lane (left or straight). This is a very common roundabout layout and I've seen this scenario a ton of times here in Cyprus. I imagine the UK is similar.
@@yaros_eu The second exit got me wondering. But you might be correct. Otherwise why is there a white car on the far left waiting to enter the roundabout? Really looks like there is a other street coming up to the roundabout we just don't really see. And when there is another street, there is another exit as well. His camera placement is really for getting the situation clear, but that got me convinced 😅

New rider here. 1:20 did he just grab too much brake in the middle of the turn? i know MSF says to brake before entering turn, and more advanced concept would be to trail brake. so i'm guessing he just grabbed too much
Yes and he was going very fast. There was not much grip left for that front tyre to give so there was probably not much braking he could've gotten away with even if he had stayed upright. Way too fast into that corner, there was no saving it. Except slowing down before it of course.
Yep and certainly in way too high a gear. That is probably one of the most common problems for many many riders when it comes to bends. This guy was too fast on approach, suffers from the inability to judge the severity of a turn (zero knowledge of the vanishing point) and enter at an appropriate speed in the appropriate gear. Such poor technique results in poor/sluggish throttle response and control and either trying to coast around the turn (which will almost guarantee you run wide or wobble badly) or, worse grabbing handful of front brake - either way, your chances of eating tarmac are greatly enhanced, as he found out.
I like going to the comments and see who everyone's picking on before watching and i 100% agree with everyone telling liquor to get off the bike no need for that acceleration especially when you can see the ways blocked and then nearly gets hit again because he's doing at least 20 over the limit in a blind rage over a car going slow from a turn....
