I have a deep appreciation for "Creatives" like yourself, who see what's infront of their eyes... But, deeper in, they are able to see Possiblity, Potential & Wonder... Beautiful 🕊️
I’m with you this year, not buying anything new. The only thing l’m buying is seasonal candles and melts. The houses, deer, and angels are stunning! Thank you for the ideas.
Everything is beautiful! I realluy love the way the painful diamond dust sparkles. Those houses look like they came from a fairy tale. I love your music, too.
😆 Yes, very painful! Darn Diamond Dust. They should have named it Glass Twinkling Shards. Haha! Thank you! I'm so glad you liked how they turned out. Fairytale Gingerbread Houses sounds perfect. 🙂😘
I’m not going to buy anything because I already own everything…except for the things I don’t. Well, I might buy a couple things but that’s it. Ahhh, you make me smile. You’re adorable:)
I marvel at your ability to look at a piece and see it for something it is not. These are stunning transformations. I love those gingerbread houses, so unique and one of a kind. Not your cookie cutter items that everyone has. Have an amazing weekend.
Good morning! Thank you so much. 🤗 I've been tempted quite a bit this year by so many beautiful decorations, but I'm doing my best to resist! 😆 Hope you have a great weekend, too! Xoxoxo
Hello, even with your "hicups" along the way you created beautiful Christmas decorations. Great to see what you did to the other two angels. Thank you.
Thanks for helping us to understand we can use what we have and re gift to those we love ❤ Save some money and still be able to give to your friends. Plus plus. Happy Holidays and always look forward to your videos. XO
Deborah, Everything turned out so beautiful! I actually love these items in their “after” state better than before, especially the houses and deer. Looking forward to your next video. Thank you for sharing.
I love the way these turned out. They look more French Country than the originals. I may have to duplicate this on my Christmas village buildings too! Thanks so much! 😊
I haven't watched your videos in such a long time. I am so glad that they popped up in my feed. I see I have quite a few to watch!!! I always loved them in the past!!!
Well Deborah , you did it again ! you inspired me like always ...it just so happens that i have 2 large totes full of thoses houses ! and now i have a project to do before i start decorating ! and i have so many i just may give one of those houses as a christmas gift ...to a special neighbor ! thank you for sharing your inspirational video !!! what a great job you did ... and i have baking soda , joint compound etc in my craft room ! so im off and running ... thank you again !
For all the trouble you had with the spray adhesive and snowflakes, they all turned out beautiful! I LOVE your gingerbread houses, the deer and the angel candle holders. Wow, I guess I love them all!
Thank you! Omgosh, that glue!!! 😆 I grabbed the wrong one and it stays tacky! It took forever to dry and then I had to spray the clear coat on it to make it not sticky. The top coats dulled down some of the sparkle, which was fine with me. But, lessons learned for sure! So glad you liked the end result. Xoxoxo
I did the same thing when I decided to update my colors in my decor. I took lighter colors and made it my own for my decor. I went crazy painting everything. But instead of getting rid of it all and going out and buying new I just updated it. I am so happy I did that. I saved a lot of money. Everything came out gorgeous. Happy holidays to you and your family!
Wow, you are a talented painter. These look so much more elegant and also beautiful. I love these houses. Also, the candle holders and the deer. I am planning on using what I have. I’ve collected for 40 years and haven’t gotten rid of too much. It’s all in my basement. I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me. 😉
Thank you! Wow, I would love to see what 40 years of Christmas decor looks like! 😍 So many treasures and memories. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. Happy Decorating! ( Yes, it IS a lot of work. I'm about half way done and it's almost December. 😆🎄)
Boy, I have to admit I was worried about the gingerbread color. When it first went on it looked like baby poo brown! 💩 My kids are 27 & 29 now, but that color is one you never forget. 😂 Glad to see it dried much darker. They all look great. 🤎
😆 Baby 💩! Lol! I did have to adjust the color along the way. I might try another one later on and go really dark and then also do a much lighter one. I liked both of those looks in the inspiration photos, too. Glad you liked how they turned out. 🙂 Xoxoxo
Oh, Deborah! Everything turned out so beautifully!!! I love all of these projects! Oh, those gingerbread houses are gorgeous! They look better than when they were new! Thank you so much, and I'm looking forward to your next video! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!🍂🍁🍂
Hello Deborah, I have to admit that after you painted over the beautiful design you had penned on the deer I was concerned. However, they turned out beautiful! Everything you transformed came out wonderful!
You have inspired me. absolutely love the idea of repainting the ceramic Christmas houses. I see so much of that stuff at Thrift stores. I’ll be on hunt for one to repaint
OMG, we are on the same brain wave lately. I've been doing the gingerbread theme for years but am so in love with the brown and white only houses as well. I did find one reasonably priced at Marshalls this year but most are so spendy! I was at a local thrift store recently that had lots of the larger style Christmas village homes and thought the same thing. Why couldn't I just paint them and make my own! Thank you so much for sharing your technique! Have to say I have not seen the deer you were going to mimic, but I love, love, love your version so much more! And finally, the snow angel!😍So in love with the makeover on your angel candlesticks. They are just beautiful!
Hey Mary! Thank you! We need to go thrifting and see if we can snag some more houses for super cheap. I've seen some for sale on Marketplace, but they want as much as a new Gingerbread house costs. I want a large one. I did see someone painted an old dollhouse, so that's an idea. Hope to see you soon! Xoxoxo
You did an awesome job on all of it. The gingerbread houses and gingerbread deers are gorgeous. I love your make overs. They look better than manufactured ones.
You did a beautiful job. I have a good sized collection of a village but in our present home I don't have room to put it out. Sure wish we did, I so enjoyed it.
Well I finally got time to watch the videos love love love the gingerbread houses maybe you should do the whole village that way it would be gorgeous and the deer are beautiful too just my style
All turned out beautiful! Much prettier than the bright colors...I def will be on the look out for some to do. Thanks for sharing, everything you do turns out great!
Deborah, You have certainly inspired me. The afternoon is just gorgeous. I think I’m gonna do this because I have some that I was going to get rid of. Thank you for sharing. Sorry you hurt your fingers but thank you for the heads up.
Deborah your gingerbread houses look better than those expensive ones. Love the deer and angles also. I use the diamond dust on my fake bakes. It is a fine glass and can be dangerous. Everything you did today is Gorgeous.
I love the houses, I have a small village I wanted to try to do in white, but these are beautiful. This might have to be a next year surprise for my family. ♥️♥️🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄
Deborah, I love everything that you do, but these items took my breath away. It felt like I was looking in a department store Christmas window as a child. What a wonderful feeling. ❤
Hi I just want to give a tip about Puffy Paint...back when I used to Papier Maché projects mostly Halloween decor...and needed Puffy Paint idk they made it. So I created my own w/Elmer's White Glue! just apply straight out of bottle or use a finer tipped lid...let dry in pattern you want & once it's dry you can paint it any color or leave white! and it can take Sparkles too! ❄ Love these Makeover Vids!!!! 🏠🏘🏡

❤ wow!! Thank you Deborah for the inspiration I have a few of these houses I'm tired of & I was wanting to donate them now Iwill have a ginger bread village just think of what that would have cost!! Your so! Creative❤
Oh Deborah, I absolutely love love all your diy’s they always turn out so beautiful. I could not ever just grab paint and do all these techniques, I would be scared of ruining my objects. But I just love how you share an show your designs, you are one amazing lady. Thank you so much for sharing. Hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed many days to come ☃️🎄☃️
Girl, yes Diamond Dust is sharp because it is actually finely ground glass. The look is gorgeous but you need to protect your eyes and hands. Bet that really did hurt ! Your projects show the love and passion you put into these projects for your home. Thank you for sharing. Everything is absolutely gorgeous just as you are. ❤
So glad you’re back. Your vision for things is amazing. Those houses and deer are stunning! ❤ I can’t wait to repurpose some items I have. I bought a couple things and I came home and kicked myself. I already have enough!
Thank you! I think it's good to get a new things each year, but it can add up quickly! If I get out of Hobby Lobby for less than $100 to $200, it's nothing short of a miracle. Lol. Even buying paint supplies can get expensive. I want to replace my greenery and trees with high end looking pieces one year, but not this one. Enjoy what you bought and I hope enjoy upcycling what you have, too! 😉 Have a wonderful week! Xoxoxo

Yay! Go for it! I know they can sometimes be worth $, but in the end the value comes from how you enjoy them. Mine were wrapped up and stored in a bin because I got rid of the boxes years ago. I am going to try the faux icing look at some point. I hope yours turn out amazing! 🤎 Let me know! Xoxoxo

Bravo! Admire how chill you appear when the plan doesn't go quite "as planned". In the end, all turned out fabulous! And your puffy paint technique you weren't pleased with, actually looked authentic on film. I was reminded of those archway brand? glazed cookies. They never fully coated them.
