Please advise more on the loading and how it is applied on the slab. It seemed to me that we should add DL and LL and Design Load Combination. Why use mesh instead of plate? Can we add the mesh or plate in one single step over a whole project or it should be done in multiple steps along the various bays. Normally the DL along with Finish Floor and Waterproofing and Live Load is added, multiplied by factors and applied to the slab. The Beam takes the needed or tributary load from the slab (this should be done by the application) and its self-weight. The Column takes tributary point load from the various beam coming into it + its self wright. What about wall loads on the beam? Am I correct and how does staad pro deal with the loads?

if i give plate ,then beam analysis is Tee or rectangular???

Go to Run analysis and then click view output file there you can see the reinforcement details of beam column and slabs also .

He forgot to assign the Selfweight to the whole structure when he changed the mesh, so technically the result is wrong. .
So how much should we keep the mesh size?
you didnt assign the selfweight after changing the size of the mesh element to 0.5
