That "I'm gonna fight you now." was so fucking genuine. You can hear it in his voice, that's the one time Deadpool was serious in a fight. It only lasted a few seconds, but he said it in a way where you *knew* he was just going to do it without any hesitation.

@@wessytko8255 Of course it is. That's why i wrote that comment. Deadpool 3 is movie about Deadpool and Wolverine, their journey. Thor crying will be for sure adressed in the future.
This movie was everything. The opening of showing up at Logan’s grave with that *NSYNC song as Deadpool uses his claws was one thing but to not only see Hugh Jackman being Wolverine once again but to also see Sabertooth, Toad, Pyro, Juggernaut, Azazel, Lady Deathstrike, The Human Torch and the ultimate appearances by Elektra, Blade, Gambit and Laura? This was basically a love letter to those who watched the Marvel films, especially of those before the MCU and the X-Men franchise as a whole. They really became extra with that wicked sense of humor this time and for being completely meta on certain things. It was Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and I can say that, without a doubt, they’ve earned it and deserve it very much.
The coke joke with blind al about Kevin Feige saying they can't use it was Kevin feige said don't use it it's an old joke do something different so they made a joke about it
Masterpiece, he says, lol. People with no knowledge in any filmmaking aspect love to throw that word around for anything. The film is entertaining, but it's full of plot holes. It's just a good film, nowhere near a masterpiece.
@@mache1009You cant be serious brother. And if him giving a reasonable argument is exhausting to you... what world are you living in my man? He neither said it was bad nor bad-mouthed the movie. I never watched any of the X-Men films, so I binge watched all of them in 1.5 weeks before the premiere lololz. And I think Chris had more fun playing Johnny than Steve.
I will admit that it was nice to see Chris Evans as The Human Torch again, but I surprised to hear the choice words come out of his mouth in the post credit scene
Probably because for the longest time he played Cap who at the end of the day was a “Boy Scout.” Playing Johnny who’s the exact opposite of Steve was probably a field day for Chris since he gets to swear like a sailor.
There's some things I would have rewritten, like the motives of the Deadpools near the final act. I would have preferred them revealed like all the heroes in END GAME, an army of Deadpools running full chaos through the movie to defend one of theirs. But, we got this, and it just doesn't make as much sense. Then again, there's always that thing everyone would do a little differently. And I think the character "Peter" is an analog to Peter Parker, as Deadpool is a revisioning of the character, and basically idolizes Spiderman in the comics.
Excluding Wolverine from marketing would have ultimately been a big miss. Never mind the monetary reasons of promoting it, as the writers stated this isn't Deadpool 3 so much as it is very much Deadpool & Wolverine. They are co-leads. Having said that, the original plan, which I very much loved, was for the movie to be called Wolverine & Friend. That's utterly hysterical and right in line withwhat Wade would call it, but that got leaked online and so they shifted plans to just be forthright. Darn internet dweebs who leaked it ruined that golden idea.
At the beginning how you were talking about how cool it wouldve been to not know Wolverine would be in this. Ryan Reynolds said his original idea was to keep the entire movie a secret. And to make and promote a fake buddy cop movie starring him and Hugh Jackman. And to actually make like 15 minutes of the fake movie, that would then out of no where turn into Deadpool and Wolverine. But he said it was impossible in this day an age. And especially how shitty it would be if the secret got leaked like 2 days before release lol But that wouldve been amazing.
If youve ever seen Freddy vs Jason its pretty much Dp and Wolvie but with villains who are already dead. In the comics very few like Wade. Spidey and Wolverine tolerate him mostly. He does have a best friend name Bob who works for Hydra. Blade series reaction would be awesome.
So it was a bit light on story, but you're not watching Deadpool & Wolverine for story you're watching it for tongue in cheek comedy, fourth wall breaks, references, references, references and easter eggs - which is just another word for references XD Blade, Elektra and the never released Gambit cameos were a big surprise, and I liked the mid-credits montage for the Fox universe, kinda like a final victory lap for them
Ryan Reynold did in fact try to hide this movie, by trying to market it as some stupid awful looking movie about a cop, and like 5 mins in this was going to run instead, but nobody seemed to want that to happen, and the film mysterously showed up on youtube in HD like a day after its theater release .>
There's a couple things I would've done differently. For one, even though I did like them together, I would've kept Wade and Vanessa broken up. Have Wade actually "die," and he meets probably his most prolific love interest, Death. That's the setup for the next movie.
