1:02 Fun fact! in Charleston, South Carolina, there's a row of colorfully painted houses literally called "The Rainbow Row". I went there on a big field trip once and Sonic's line reminded me of that place. :)

I’m with you guys on the boost mechanics, they’re not necessarily bad, but I definitely prefer the gameplay of the adventure games. However I do think this fan game should still be commended considering how much work was clearly put into it.

The name always gets people (I get it) but this fangame is a ton of fun none the less. Omega and Knuckles got some new abilities, good to see. 😎

So the fan base criticized Sonic's modern personality only to replicate it, but with fan-level writing?
Also come on. Fan games... please. There are expert-level fan voice actors for Sonic. Please use them more often. At least you did right with Eggman.
I will say this, these VA's are WAY better than usual fan game VA's. They at least sound like they're used to voice acting. Knuckles really stands out to me. Sonic's voice is a big generic but the acting is good. Omega sounds decent. But it sounds like he has 2 different voices. One of them sounds pretty faithful to the modern interpretation of his voice. And I can't tell if it's from Sonic Forces or something because the line seems custom to the gameplay. But the cutscene voice was decent and sounded more like it channels OG Omega.
As for the game itself, it looks cool as always. :)

@@ArcticWolf-15 Not exactly directed at your comment, but the photo is taken from the starting of the ocean level, and a shader is applied over it. It's mostly in game footage, but an AI tries to convert a different Sonic model over the posing of the in-game model. Which I normally manual edit after the fact in certain spots (like the hands)
That being said I have the image in 4k and the mouth looks about normal? Angle might be very slightly off but official games do that to so 🤷 Especially not sure how you'd see that in a 720p thumbnail. That being said I am generally curious what you dislike about the mouth, so I can correct it for next time, did you expect it to be more upwards like a smile or longer across his face? I was going for a more serious cool pose.
