    I forgot to mention, that strawberry fabric would be so cute with the vintage shorts/bra top pattern. Even the midriff top/shorts/over skirt would work. Strawberries for the skirt, solid color for the top/shorts or vice/versa. It would just look so chic in summer while on holiday in Italy. I can see the skirt blowing in the breeze, howing off the shorts, hair held in a scarf, as you ride on the back of a Vespa! Ok, maybe I have a vivid imagination but I can see you in it on those hot days in Spain as well.

    I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn’t seen a posting from you. I even went to your channel to see if I missed one. Good to see you pop on today! I look forward to seeing your makes with all your wonderful new fabrics and patterns. I’m very interested in seeing the afghan made up. Your niece needs to send a photo for you to show us.

    Hi Christine, Congrats on the magazine feature-that’s so exciting! Secondly, I’ve recently made the Vogue 1605 skirt, it’s so glamorous and I can’t wait to wear it. Lastly, thanks for the tips on completing the tweed jacket; I’ve purchased some Linton tweed just waiting to be sewn up. I love how your jacket turned out-looks fab!

    I want to buy a bernina sewing machine, but not one that comes with French directions. I learned on an American machine about 20 years ago. What’s the best way to buy it since I am in France? Glad I found your channel.

    • @SewingandtheCity
      @SewingandtheCity  3 місяці тому

      I'm glad you found my channel helpful! You might consider reaching out to local Bernina dealers in France and inquire if they have models with English instructions available. Additionally, you could explore online retailers that offer international shipping and specify your preference for English instructions 💜

    The strawberry print fabric from Hobby Lobby is so stinkin' cute! I'm really intrigued by that knit interfacing and will need to grab some to try out! Do you only use it for your knit projects, or have you used it on wovens also? Totally like you in that I am not a fan of the overly stiff stuff.

    • @SewingandtheCity
      @SewingandtheCity  3 місяці тому +1

      Thank you so much!! I love it too 😀 Yes, I use that knit interfacing for everything, even wovens and it works really well...not overly stiff 🙂
