Dockworkers Three Day Strike Comes to End in US

- The International Longshoremen’s Association, the 47,000-member union that represents the workers in every major Eastern US and Gulf Coast port, and the US Maritime Alliance, which represents terminal operators and shipping lines, say they have reached a tentative agreement on wages and have agreed to extend the Master Contract until January 15.
