Malaika, it's ironic that you mentioned butterflies in your statement. As I was watching this video, at about 1:37 where the embryo implants in the uterus, I was thinking that it is like a catapilar going into a cocoon where no one can see what's going on in there, and it emerges as a butterfly.

I was expecting my period on December 26th.....it didnt come..... so I took two pregnancy tests yesterday and they both turned out positive. First time mommy over here. I truly hope it isn't a false positive as I feel cramping and slightly bloated in my lower abdomen.

Congratulations. I hope you are feeling good. Did you know that children who don't get any sh0ts (vack-seens) when in the womb or after birth are healthier than children who do? My youngest is almost six, had none, and she didn't have skin issues that my older kids did. And also, no baby needs to have his or her genitals cut (I wish all boys could stay intact!), and breastfeeding for two years or more is a good thing.

I am fascinated by identical twins and the bond they share! Though it’s my understanding that monoamniotic twins carries big risk to both babies due to the shared placenta and sac. I personally would be delighted to have twins, but it would also mean twice the worrying! I have several children and was a worry wort mom. Still am! Dads really do have all the fun lol. But I wouldn’t trade sexes for anything in the world, because even though I worry, growing a child is one of the most amazing experiences a woman could ever go through. Becoming a mother and investing time and love in your children reaps rewards that are bountiful, endless, and worth more than anything in this world. Especially when your children go on to marry happy and well, have children too, and you end up the matriarch of an ever expanding family tree. I hope I live long enough to see that come to fruition in my own life!

Potato, you said it !!! Why is abortion legal far beyond that, right ! For others reading this, this video gave the answer to Potato's question, in a different view. The 14 day limit is an ethical one. Scientists either already knows when the embryo becomes a life, or when it doesn't, at this stage, thus it would be unethical to pursue this experiment further. It would answer many questions about abortion though, but to go further would not be right. Even scientists know this, so God bless them for at least knowing THAT. Also, I AM against abortion, and after seeing this video, this helps me understand why not to abort.
Michael Best I think abortion done in the very early stages (up to end of embryonic period/8 weeks) is harmless and vital for women to have access to. It’s a completely different story only a few weeks later though. Let alone beyond the first trimester.

My late Grandmother's last pregnancy was at 48 years old when she had my Uncle. He is healthy and well. He gave many years to serving in he Canadian Air Force.
