Extremely clear. Much better than all other content out there. It's always confusing when combining this feature with fixed, hugged, filled and auto layout
Depends on what you are trying to achieve, sometimes is way easier to just use constraints. Plus using auto layout to do everything sometimes just makes a mess of auto layouts in your project. The way i use it, i do components in auto layout but when it is time to put them all together i tend to use constraints for keeping everything more or less in order
Great explaination I have subscribed. Can I ask what the main difference is bewteen this approach Fram constarints nd using auto layout? I have just started to learn Figma so please excuse the question if it is silly. Thanks
Hi! I have a question: for some reason, the “constraints and resizing” option is missing in my Figma. It’s not where it should be, and I can’t find it anywhere. Also, I’m missing a couple of animations in prototypes, even though I have a Figma subscription. What do you think the issue could be?
Hi....In figma new Update first we have to convert the frame into component to enable the constraints option otherwise its not showing....How to resolve this?
The best video on the internet clearest of all time best to learn from scratch

Very clear explanation brother ❤
Thank you quite a bit!
can you also do with texts in the boxes?
yes you can - set the text objects to "left and right" and make sure the text object is set to "auto height" in type setting
Thank you
Hi....In figma new Update first we have to convert the frame into component to enable the constraints option otherwise its not showing....How to resolve this?
I need the *menu* Top- Right in Desktop Version
but Centre in the mobile version...

thank you!
I don't have the Constraints option on my right panel (I do select the object)
