Thank you, Ladies, for a wonderful discussion. I read "Fellowship Point" many months and a lot of books ago but listed it as one of my favorites for 2022. Found it on Facebook in an ad and because I choose books of interest to me, bought it for the older characters as you mentioned. Having graduated in my late 40s in 2000 with my BA in Humanities, classes were based on novels that we critiqued on many levels. I miss those discussions as you pointed out. Book clubs for me don't cut it. Had wanted to write, but never did.
My favorite book in DECADES. Wish there were more like it. Left me weepy at the end, but in the very best way. Beauty can do that. This was a great discussion between two thoughtful, smart, caring women and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it, thank you!
