Kathy, I get frustrated every time I make country-fried steak. It's always so tough and stringy even when the butcher tells me it's a good cut of beef. What on earth am I doing wrong? It's so good to see women being true friends and supporting each other.

Hi! You might be over cooking it. Beef is best if it's not cooked well done. Check out my steak Finger video. I think you'll like that method a lot❤️

My question may seem silly, but I'm trying to get better at hosting people so I have to ask. You talked about all the sides you were going to make, but it didn't seem like they were ready by the time the steaks were cooked. How long can you keep the meat warm, without it getting soggy or overcooked, while you make the rest of the meal? Or was everything else ready and kept warm in the oven?

That’s not a silly question at all. Most of the time my sides are ready and staying warm in the oven. These steaks can be kept warm in the oven up to 30 minutes before serving. I keep mine on a rack so they don’t get soggy. Hope that helps🩷

Looks Good.. but InAlways thought Round Steak was a tougher cut of meat(even though you pounded it thin)?? So.. I’ve always been a little fearful to even try it this way??…(There is nothing worst than tough steak)!!
What did you prepare them for dessert?? It sounds like you have a Forever Friend!!🙌🙌💓💓🙏🙏😋🥰😘

When in Houston, what church did you attend? Maybe Ed Young’s church, Second Baptist Church!

I just love Ed Young. He was on the other side of Houston. I visited when they had special events. I went to RiverPoint Church in Sugarland❤️

Cover with ketchup? You could just put a roof shingle in his plate and cover with ketchup 😮😢😮😢
