I don't know. I do like some of the overt foley elements that they are embracing: fluttering pages, scissors, vibrators etc. The music videos have certainly upped the short film aesthetic and narrative. And there's always been a deep mix to the sound design whether it's sparse and naked or full battery. I wonder if any directors or cinematographers are paying attention?
This is very haunting and I love it!
