I agree. I was more talking about just flat singular black outfits. Most times it can really look flat even if paired with bright lips. But yes, different textures of black, color combo etc will definitely add depth.
You are so right about jersey. Designers started using it a good few years ago. It never looks good. Great video from a 61 year old modern woman😂 I hope 😅❤
It’s sad that they use it so often in clothing and price them so cheap that it’s inevitable that most people will buy a lot of it! Yay- a modern 61 year old is what I aspire to be so I value your insight too xx.
The one thing I disagree with is the chunky shoes. Chunky's shoes have been in style for years, i think adding combat boots or chunky loafers is very youthful. And I think you should wear the colors in your color season. That's what makes you look young and lively. And of course, if you're a winter black is your color. But so many people look washed out in black and look better in navy or whatever the neutral is in their color season. It's always better to wear colors. I am a winter a bright winter and I do not look good in light colors. It makes me look washed out.
Totally get you here. Fashion has a lot of little nuances but if we all take time out to work out what’s right for us and how comfortable and beautiful we feel, then that’s all that truly matters right?! ☺️. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Just came here from another channel...woman is the same age as me but I wondered how come she looked so much older....I realized it was the clothes she was styling...everything unstructured knits, long baggy tunic tops, polyester pants with elastic waist, etc. It made her also look bigger than she was. Agree with most everything here, but I do like some lug sole booties....and I'm not "model height".
Ah bummer. All of that made me cringe a little. Cheap fabrics can really make us look odd! Funny thing is with the same amount of money or a little bit more we can absolutely elevate our styles! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and absolutely value an opposing view especially when others feel confident and beautiful in their clothing and accessories ✨
I a slim Seasoned Women of a Particular age & bunkie oversize never worked for me. Some things I like still is not for me. Vintage pieces are different from just Old pieces........Sooo for the most part I Agree cause I don’t mix my metals. This was Great Content 👸🏽✨❤️✨
All black ensembles look great with different textures, which adds depth and interest. Black paired with a red lip looks fabulous.

Thank you for sharing your point of view and I agree with Vintage and old pieces are not the same. Vintage has so much more charm and presence. ✨
❤❤❤ nice 👍🏼

I have a Gen Z kid. She critiques my outfits. I can pull off trends with modifications. And it helps that I look young sooo…😀
Haha Gen Z’s are brutally honest. Love this so much.
Mismatched jewelry is in.
