I fell for that account lmao! When I tried making a stan account in 2019, i used part of the artists' name and they banned me immediately for impersonation... so I asumed actual long-term artist impersonation was a thing of the past, like 2010 era..... I was happy to see cheryl lynn on twitter 😭 this shit goes so deep
I think its fake, but why wouldn't Cheryl have an official account? She wouldn't have to manage it herself. She could hire someone to do that for her if she doesn't want to be bothered with it. A lot of celebs don't run their own social media and have someone else manage it. Very unusual for an entertainer.
These types of accounts happen a lot. I have experienced them with Lil Kim, Lotto, etc. I stay on top of events and pop culture, so when I ask a question and the replies are clueless to what I'm asking, I know they're fake. Plus, I heard of artists asking for money and not asking for you to join their fan club. Smh. Lol.

Big Cheryl Lynn fan here too--absolutely one of my favorite singers. 'You Saved My Day' always has me going to church in my apartment. And I mindless sang all the words to "Believe In Me," for years before I realized the verses don't make a lot of sense--her voice is just that good. Heard about the alleged Anita beef back in the day. Seemed really uncharacteristic of Cheryl--she's just never been that 'out there.' The episode was very 'entertaining' ('...cause you know I could sing you down on stage' lmao) Some time ago I commented you should ask for an interview with her. Still think that would be good idea. I'd watch. Cheryl is still the 'realest' and the ;bestest'

This is amazing investigative work. I first came across this account the other day when they made that tweet about Megan. I too thought it was odd for someone like Cheryl to insert herself in the beef, but I got quite the ki-ki looking at Nicki’s fan lay into her as if she’s not THEE Cheryl Lynn. But it all makes sense now.

I knew it was fake the second I see it , I started the #encorechallenge last year it's been a viral sensation , I've been booked all overtime dance to the song and making headline news , we've been attempting to get a hold of Cheryl and manager we got nothing but the run around for 2 months , we had CBS morning , ebony , and other large news outlets asking if we got a hold of her yet and they all had no luck as well ... We all began to believe the socials are fake.. she had a beef with Anita Baker in 2015 which apparently was not her either . Someone most likely seen a opportunity to Keep the joke going after the previous page was deleted
