Hey Jeremy I haven’t folded origami since I was in the 5th grade. Now I’m in high school. Now with the coronavirus, a case in my city I’m here to fold origami once more. I clicked on the notification.
Toasty Animations idk it seems legit I once thought that too till they cancelled a school trip to Florida and I am so relieved. I wasn’t going on the trip anyways so it didn’t impact me. But glad it got cancelled I don’t want that corona virus
@@theorigamiuniverse3798 Ya it's good to take precautions. The more we can all just sort of hunker down and self quarantine now the more likely we can get back to a normal life sooner.

@@darrenbent7601 Well, using the pleated teeth they wouldn't close together fully like my original monster envelope, but you could at least redo one set of pleats so that the teeth aim toward the grooves of the other set of teeth. I did that in one or two of my tries but ultimately decided that the extra complexity to do that wasn't worth the improvement to the look of the finished model so I omitted it.

...wow. I subscribe to a lot of origami youtubers. They’re easily categorized - the software/math people, modular, wet folders, tessellated, crumple-gamists and curligamists, but then there’s you. As far as I know, just you. I don’t really have a category for this, but the best description I have is “compliant mechanism” origami. “Action origami” describes a really small pool and you’re swimming alone in the deep end.

The new version of this is the first app that I’ve ever used it has to do a few days before I get it I can not find any of it The new version of this version has a lot more levels than I do now but it has to do a good thing about the game I have played it has to do with it haha was a great day for the first day and it is so much better then it was fun to get to

A very nice piece of action origami. The bear trap looks way more like the classic metal trap than the previous attempt.
Thanks Darren. I'm glad you noticed that. This model was actually the one I worked on first but since it's more complex I decided to teach it second.
