What other African countries could learn from people who are scattered all over the world. selling themselves as slaves and begging for benefits and feuding other people. Most of the responses were seemingly based on what these respondents like. But I think Nigeria and SA take the lead. Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia and Egypt follow very closely at the same degree. Though the popularity, I personally think, all is heavily dependent on which part of the globe the person doing the rating comes from.
Don't forget DRC and Rwanda.
For DRC, the popularity is even much more elevated by the bloody west causing prevalent wars among the citizens there to ensure it's completely underdeveloped due to constant insurgency. How I wished we would be a United Africa with one currency, we would solve these challenges much easier.

If we're speaking strictly about popularity, then more people have heard of Nigeria because Nigeria has the largest diaspora and is in more places around the world. Kenya is the most popular tourism destination. South Africa is known for being an economic powerhouse in Africa. If you include Egypt, then I'd say Egypt is No. 1 or 2.

I am Nigerian and this is more a historical list and almost accurate. You will be shocked that a majority of people don't even know that Egypt is in Africa. Anyway I cannot dispute your list but Top 2 interchangeable depending on the audience. I will also note that in a Top 5 add Ethiopia before Ghana and Kenya. Your arguments for Ghana are not really substantial. Ghana was the first dub saharan country to gain independence, surely will be mentioned in social studies and history classes across Africa, in 2019 Ghana also hosted the year of return and gained more popularity. Kente and jollof rice also puts us on the map
@@jessypet216 I know Ghana is the first or one of the first countries to gain independence, but alot of people doesn't know this, so it doesn't make them popular, Kente is mostly known as a material from Africa, just go ask people people outside west African most of them don't know. I didn't mention the year of no return because if was not really successful. The jollof rice thing is because of the war between Ghana and Nigeria jollof war, this make both Nigeria and Ghana jollof popular.

Worst thing to do is to ask people of a country whether their country is popular. That is a no no in research and objectivity.
You could ask them to mention a country apart from their own country, which other country is the most popular.
When you interview people of different countries that way and you weight their response and averages, then you gonna get a fair objective assessment.
The best is to ask non Africans though.

Is hard to say because each country has its own unique vibe. I don't think we should rank our African countries onto which is the most popular,God made each country in Africa beautifully and a touch of magic!!! The only thing I will say is "Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika" which means May God bless Africa,peace my wonderful Africans!!! The Mother Continent❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
