I wish they did more adventure videos like this, not only review videos. They have the high quality production and the gear and rigs and the locations to do it. Would love to see more of these kind of videos while at the same time giving a nice review on how the rig did.

30 or so years ago my wife and I from the UK travelled from Denver over the Rockies, Salt lake and back round. No real off roading though we had a Chevy Blazer on hire. Best vacation I’ve ever had. Snow in Yellowstone July 5th. Yeah bring a jacket.

This review demonstrates the best use of this type of vehicle-not rock crawling, but more like a good family vacation or road trip vehicle that can do some mild off-roading.

Been watching TFL for a few years now and I think this is my favorite video yet. Please do more like this!
First went to Wall Drug in 1978 on my first cross country road trip. Those bill boards work because after seeing them for hundreds of miles you just have to stop and check it out. Plus, it's in the middle of nowhere so by the time you get there you are ready for a break.

Some of the most under appreciated part of this country. My Buff (now) senior and his brother reversed your route when driving back east from school last summer. I made the suggestion that they head all the way up to 90 to catch basically everyone of the sites your stopped at based on a trip I’d taken as a 14-year old. Like you, they loved being in that part of American and enjoyed Wall Drug way more than they expected to. We also some humorous family vlog updates as they visited various places. I always recommend that section of 90 to anyone looking for a cool summer road trip. Really, really enjoyed that video and the memories it brought back. Well done. Can’t wait to see more of these travelogue-type videos. Maybe talk to some of the locals next time. I still remember hanging out one night at a DQ in SD with a couple of kids my own age. I was they were growing up on local farms. I still remember how interesting and alien they seemed to me (as I imagine my friends and I did to them).

Tommy the locked gate on the forest road is actually illegal, getting anyone to do something about it though is hard. The roads are supposed to be open and some sheriffs will tell you to cut the lock but I would call and talk to them first. People moving out on forest roads and locking gates are causing problems and they will be heavily fined if there is a fire and they lock the gate.

That offroad trail - my "offroader" (as everyone else on the road would like to see it off the road) - holiday car Skoda Roomster will happily jump that trail on one wheel and that doesn't have any 4wd as with the 3 cylinder 1.2 diesel it barely manages to moves downhill. But what makes it offroad so great is the high ground clearance, and no scratch will anyhow ruin it's already terrible factory looks. And therefore one can really enjoy the offroading with big smile on face. All this with easily 75!!! MPG (UK). Offroading with any of my other fancy capable 4x4s is always stressful pain as I have to worry to scratch the fancy, expensive paintwork... This makes the Roomster the best offroader!
