    Man you're super fast with that tamping brush! 😁 Great job on the rug. I have 2 wool rugs coming up for Friday. A Great Dane has been using them for a potty so that's gonna be a bit of extra work for me. I haven't seen them yet since it's about a 90 mile round trip! I hope the urine isn't too extreme. I know there will be at least several pretty large deposits.

      Thanks buddy, best of luck with the rug cleaning on Friday, Hopefully it's fresh and the Urine hasn't turned Alkaline 😲😲

      What's a CRB??

    • @FirstClassFloorCare
      @FirstClassFloorCare  2 місяці тому

      CRB stands for "Counter Rotating Brushes" and used to mechanically agitate carpets and hardfloors, spread the cleaning agent, lift the pile and pull up deep embedded dirt and dander from deep in the carpet fibers as show in this video 🙌

    First two questions I have are
    1. what PSI were set to
    And
    2. You mentioned Hot Water extraction... I was under the impression that cold water was the best. What temp?

    I still run from WOOL carpets and rugs after 25 years, I try to avoid wool rugs at all cost, I tell customers to send them to a RUG SPA 😂
    I see you know your stuff with wool carpets and rugs, another great job 👍🏾

    • @FirstClassFloorCare
      @FirstClassFloorCare  3 роки тому +2

      Ah it's super easy guys - just different pre treatment, that's all. Id say 30% - 50% of the carpets here in Ireland are wool or habe a wool mix!

      Wool carpet is a great choice, just make sure you have it professionally maintained every 12 - 18 months to make sure dirt doesn't build up in it, as you can't use stong chemistry on wool carpet like synthetic carpet

    I live in the US. Can I rent these tools you used? What are the two tools you used after you vacuumed...I think one was a renovator and I'm not sure what the other one was called. What's the difference in what each of these do for the rug? Great vid. Thank you.

    Any suggestions on the best vacuum cleaner that money can buy? I'm leaning to Dyson but I've heard that the "pull" from them can be so hard that it makes it hard to push the vacuum around. I'm open to any suggestions

      I’ll tell ya… they are a pain to vacuum (normal vacs ruin it) and shampooed also ruin it.. I started delicately caring for my rug but then started to ruin it. Not even two years old my wool rug is toast from vacuuming.

      A lot of my customers say, over time, they don't see it building up, but then they move a piece of furniture or coffee table off the rug where it has been protected and can see how clean that area is vs the unprotected part of the rug
