I know how you feel Mrs. Donna. My Mommy passed away on Thanksgiving and I don't think I would have continued with the holiday year after year even though I am thankful. But in my Bishops sermon for her funeral, He stressed to us children not to hate this day because She made it home just in time for the Holidays! My soul felt so much better knowing that She was saved and gets to tell Jesus face to face how thankful she is.
I'm glad that what the Bishop said at your mom's service blessed you. What a wonderful way to see her passing. He was right and so are you. I pray that you and your family have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
Amen,yes my mommy passed on Easter Sunday ,I was 10 .I remember my last time seeing her .Saturday I was waving good by at the hospital from outside getting in the car with daddy ,she waving from her window in her room.Easter my mommy was gone.But it was ok to this day at 70 Easter ,any Easter is my time in my heart with her ..💛💛💛🌺🌺🌺🌺

My mother passed away to and around the holidays I have these signs up : To blessed too stressed! My mom taught me everything but how to live without her! And my favorite: on the darkest days when I fill inadequate unloved and unworthy I remember whose daughter I am and straighten my 👑

I do understand! It’s been 20 years and I STILL miss my mommy a lot like it was yesterday!!! ❤ However, it warms my heart watching her and her daughter as well as other influencers with their mom. ❤ It reminds me that oneday my children will miss me so I have to focus on every minute that I have with them! ❤

I understand Mrs.Donna. I’m the same way. My mom left in 2015 and I started crying last week. I can’t find her homemade roll recipe. I found it and it was in her handwriting. It has faded and she kept trying to get me to learn how to make them. One of my regrets. I miss her so much. I hate I can’t meet you on Friday, November 17th. Mrs Donna I feel ya... my mom's date is Dec 19 - 4 years so I feel ya. The main thing I am missing with my mom are our 2 AM texts or calls - yessss my mom learned the texting and her typos were hilarious. Now we got my dad texting...he's getting the hang of it. He's funny too. I wish I was close enough. I am in Florida. Would like to come meet and greet but my own health started acting up more right after she passed away so I am 44 trying to look smooth rolling with a walker, bout to go do a scooter and bling it out to show I am still young 🤣. But when family and I get around to taking another road trip, I'll try to time it with another one of your meet and greets. Keep an eye out in the mail for something special from JH Custom Creations. I've been wanting to do something for you. You've been having me experimenting in the kitchen and having a blast. I started doing arts and crafts as therapy for not just my mind but my body has a mind of its own these days; had to find a way to balance stress to keep autoimmune flareups to a minimum. And following along with your baking has become part of my crafting therapy. My hubby and son love my adaptation of your cornbread... I have to gluten free it for health reasons, but ohhhhh lady your directions are on point. Thank you so much for your videos.🌺🌹

I wish I didn’t have to work on Friday, as I would take a 4+ hour ride from ATL to meet you and the other family members. Donna, I know of which you are speaking. My mom passed away on Thanksgiving and her birthday is on Christmas Day. It is very hard. It’s been 10 years but the years don’t matter. The pain lessons but it doesn’t go away because that’s your mom and she will always be in your heart. I watch this series about grief and no one can tell you when, how long and how to grieve. There is healing in our tears so if you need to cry, cry. Don’t hold back because if that is what you feel then feel it. We are always here to listen. No words are necessary sometimes you just need a listening ear. We love and are always willing to listen. BE WHO YOU ARE, HUMAN ❤
