I am finishing up the first trimester with my first child and I keep thinking about what I'm going to do going through this again whenever we have a second! I can't imagine, but I guess you just grin and bear it for your child. Wheat toast, yogurt, and spaghetti have been my go-to foods.
you're such a boss babe! i love that you say it's ok to have a messy house and just survive. also relatable for us who don't have kids but have pandemic depression lolll
Thank you so much. I needed this. I'm 9 weeks with my second, in the throws of first trimester sickness, with an 11 month old. They will be 18 months apart and I am terrified lol
It seems a lot more doable the further you get in your pregnancy and your first starts turning into a toddler and not a baby. Now that Theo is almost 18 months I feel so much more confident about adding #2 than I did when we first found out.
I know it feels like so overwhelming right now but it’s is possible, and you’ll figure it out as you go along, new journey and it will be ok ❤️ Me and my older sister are 18m apart and 27yrs on we are best friends with toddlers of our own ❤️
100% agree with just survival! I threw up so often in my first trimester with my second, I only threw up once with my first. She would come and watch me throwing up in the toilet and stroke my back, I asked her to leave but she wanted to check I was OK. I have 2 friends going through exactly the same as me with a toddler already and just talking to them is so helpful, even if its both of us saying how rubbish we feel 😂 Also I looove your jumper! 😍
Currently 7 weeks with my second (my son is almost 27 mos) and I agree with what you’re saying 💯 % Because right now 🤢 😓 Looking forward to week 14 when hopefully it eases up 🤞
This is so accurate. I’m 24 weeks and my daughter will also be 18 months when I have my son. I did a lot of eating fries and dying on the couch for the first 3 months. Just survive is basically the best advice for sure haha.
I hate when people say they think puking would make them feel better when pregnant. That may be true with a stomach bug but 100% not for pregnancy. You just keep puking and feel more nauseous, and worse and worse.
@@FemmeHead One thing ive learned from being a busy plant mom is if you cant remember the last time you watered your plant, water your plant! Its a great routine to be in if you dont have very demanding plants lol If a plant is "fussy" and in my care, it will die because i just dont have the time for that!
Can’t wait for more 2 under 2 content. We’re over 35, have a 7 month old and thinking if we have another one, it should be soon!

Is that a snake plant in the background? Very relatable 😂

That's so sweet she would rub your back.

It gets better! Hang in there mama!!
Love everything about this video! Just wondering, couldn't you have asked a family member to prepare meals for you and Theo?
During the first trimester? Maybe but I just never did. Covid has made those sort of things pretty difficult.
@@FemmeHead Must've been really hard to handle that on your own! Xx

I’m 24 weeks as well!
Yup you just have to do whatever it takes to get through it, and just tell yourself it's going to get easier.
I can attest that when I was pregnant I threw up constantly & never got relief 😅
