Yep! I live nearby too. Have lived here for decades. What has been done to this community is criminal. Shootings, stabbings, robberies, gang assaults, brothels all along Roosevelt, prostitution, streets taken over by illegal vendors, and more. Even in the 80's it was nowhere near how it is now.

Tell the Republicans in Congress to pass the bill that addresses this! I am talking about the bill that gets rid of becoming a citizen just because your parents were here when you were born, limits the number of asylum seekers per year and other things on the Republicans wish list. There are a few bills but this is the one that Trump told them not to pass until he was in office. Trump does not care about anything other than what he called the luxury of being waited on hand and foot.

Birthright citizenship is in the constitution, genius. It would require a LOT of agreement (that this divided country currently doesn’t have) to pass a constitutional amendment. Now I 100% agree with you that we need to end birthright citizenship, but I don’t see it happening in our lives.
But what this has to do with Trump is beyond me. The bill that biden was touting as being a “border security bill” did nothing to actually secure the border. It was a foreign aid package that had funding for more border control agents. The agents were to help speed processing of the people crossing the border, NOT to actually better protect the border. It established a daily limit of 3500 border crossers. That’s still millions a year. It doesn’t do anything, much like biden’s executive order that he claimed is closing the border now. It’s not. It’s limiting the daily crossings to 2500 AT PORTS OF ENTRY. This doesn’t take any of the people who cross at the hundreds of miles between the ports of entry. It doesn’t fund any new wall construction. The Biden Administration inherited a secure border, but he opened it the day of his inauguration by reversing all of the Trump border policies, and he sold all of the metal that was procured to build the new wall for pennies on the dollar.
You don’t really know anything about which you speak, and you’re blinded by your hatred for Trump. Grow tf up and do your own research.
