M O O N that spells OMG Randell Flagg is Alexander Skarsgard!! Read the book first, got the original mini series on DVD, and now this little treat thrown in ... 😉🥰
My favorite novel of all time. I’m so hesitant to see what they do here.. King adaptations are hit and miss. It’s gotta be better than all the rest. Such a massive story with a huge scale... I worry about the TV treatment.
Dana Seilhan I know, I remember.. unlike most people on here I was alive and watched it on tv. I even sat there and paused my VHS during the commercials, so I had a copy of it for years and years. Unwatchable now, Mick Garris is a hack.
God if I could marry Alexander Skarsgard I would be so freaking happy but unfortunately I am hitting 40 so that may be too old for him. Such a huge fan and i know he will do great with Randall Flagg my favorite villain.
Cool, I like that. That the director is handing him books and telling him to read chapters here and there to better help him create the character rather than this just be some B.S. adaptation of Kings work which happens often.
Pink Tink actors almost always read the source material of what they’re doing. Most actors are more well read than the average public but that doesn’t necessarily make them smart or savvy
Love To See Alexander On The Screen. But I Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Wanna Know... Will The Kid Be In This Adaptation. Because He's Another Scary Guy Who Has Epic Scenes.
that he said the showrunner is a big King fan is the biggest nail in the coffin for this shit I've ever seen and makes it 100% proof positive that it's always a lie now.
My only fear, as with all adaptations and remakes, is that this remake won't be as good as the original, or won't stick close to the book (as with Spielberg's version of The Shining).
@@mikelonden well he did that but he also was in the kkk according to the stand. It said flagg had all sorts of conflicting political papers in his pocket and that he was an "equal opportunity reader". I always viewed him as going with whatever stance he felt like. Just as long as he could do some wicked shit
he was no Jamie Sheridan. Jamie killed it. he had panache. D Skarsgard was very boring jn the role. to his defense, the whole series was awful. not sure how Boone fucked up what was such a great book...being thay he 9s a "superfan"

All the Skarsgards are gonna be in a Stephen King movie...
That would be amazing!!
Maybe bring them together in Castlerock?
They should do 'Salem's Lot and have Papa Skarsgård play Father Callahan
that would be awesome. And I think Salem's Lot exists in Castle Rock so it could happen
I hate clowns. Didn’t that Pennywise clown rip off a kid’s arm and eat him. I’m didn’t avoiding the Skarsgard that played him.
Excited to see him as Randall Flagg! Going to read The Stand this year!
Alex does have range & can make it all happen‼️

It was on TV last time too. Miniseries.
can't be worse than the gunslinger
@@superanimeniac I refuse to acknowledge that movie exists. What garbage.
@@mtoomb the list of GOOD steven king adaptations is pretty damn short.

my goodness he’s so handsome, i can see him doing it. he’s going to do great👏🏽
Eric Northman's american accent is pretty spot on!
I love this look on him
Same 🖤
Bill Skarsgard in Castle Rock. Alexander in The Stand. Are the Skarsgard brothers The Man in Black?
Don't forget that Bill was also Pennywise
Would be epic if they cast him as The Man in Black in The Dark Tower series
Oh, cool THIS guy is the one playing Randall Flagg?? He’s a great actor!😁
God if I could marry Alexander Skarsgard I would be so freaking happy but unfortunately I am hitting 40 so that may be too old for him. Such a huge fan and i know he will do great with Randall Flagg my favorite villain.
lol he’s 44 so you’re okay😂
41. He still has a couple of years on us.
He seems like a chill dude
My life for you!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ageDC 😉
He is perfect for the role. Not too old, not too young. He has the right body type, right features. I can't wait!!
Wish I Was Sleeping he’s around the same age that Jamey was. Some of the other characters are around the same age as the original cast was.
"You ain't no nice guy"
A-Deuce xMusic thats Larry Underwood, not Randall Flagg.
I can’t wait to see this. I liked the original.
I honestly think he will be great in this role! Especially the weird sexual stuff with Nadine 💗

Pink Tink he probably has read and seen it

@@defaultusername123 Wrong. It does. It means they care about the work and are trying to do it right.
Pink Tink reading doesn’t make you smart. Comprehension does.
I prefer "The Walking Dude"
The Dark Man
@@jamesmackay7366 Nightman
The Hardcase
Or
Russell Faraday
Or
Walter o'Dim
Or
Marten Broadcloak
Or Richard Freemantle
Who doesnt 🤣
Yes! I just realized Stellan Skarsgard is his DAD! I hope he does a good Randall Flagg. Whoops, I mean a bad Randall Flagg! 😂🤣🤣
Man, they better not fuck this up. It's easily King's best novel.
Anyone else here after Castle Rock Season 2 Episode 7?
Love To See Alexander On The Screen. But I Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Wanna Know... Will The Kid Be In This Adaptation. Because He's Another Scary Guy Who Has Epic Scenes.
Dont tell me, I'll tell you!
Have to Google this production for more information. Not sure who Josh Boone is.
Don’t do it. His credits aren’t the best, but interviews he sounds like he gets it. I’m excited
Robin Berman He has a really nice story about his love for SK and The Stand novel.
this whole rona thing is just so the actors can get into character. I hope they have Gary Sinise do a small character.
that he said the showrunner is a big King fan is the biggest nail in the coffin for this shit I've ever seen and makes it 100% proof positive that it's always a lie now.
I'm reading the dark tower
Wonder who is going to play Stu
It's going to be James Marsden
@@iammitchconner He played that goofy prince in Enchanted. I'm having trouble picturing him being the exact opposite of that.
@@iammitchconner ahh. Thanks. Maybe not my first pick.... moon spells Stu
He's great in Westworld. He can pull it off.
the one and only Stu : Gary Sinise..
I hope the world learns something from the stand.
law yes
Uhh uh umm uhhh
Haha he seems so tired
My only fear, as with all adaptations and remakes, is that this remake won't be as good as the original, or won't stick close to the book (as with Spielberg's version of The Shining).
That was Kubrick not Spielberg.
I can't believe Marilyn Manson is playing TrashCan Man. I can't wait to see what kind of crazy stuff he does with this character.
I hope they keep Flagg as a liberal type character like in the book and movie
Liberal in what way? He seems kind of apolitical.
Nick Machiavelli
King himself said he based the character off donald defreeze who was the leader of a far-left terrorist group.
Yeah, I looked it up afterward. Fascinating.

Speaks like white Barack Obama lol
Amber Heard will play Nadine
YUK 🤢
This guy absolutely sucked as Randall Flagg. The stand deserved so much more respect than this.
he was no Jamie Sheridan. Jamie killed it. he had panache. D

I’m sorry Alex skarsgard. I love you but I’m not watching this because amber heard is in this.
Not a particularly articulate fellow, is he? Some movies should be left alone. The Stand is one of them.
He can't be Randall Flagg, he doesn't fit it at all, other than his height
Dont count him out. Hes a very versatile actor.
if you have not watched true blood or big little lies you may want to..... especially the eric northman basement or fight scenes
I mean, they can dye his hair black. I actually pictured Flagg having slicked back hair like this
I've seen him act many times. I love him, but he doesn't fit the Randall Flagg i have in my head.
Karin Morris Out of curiosity as a Constant Reader, what kind of look did you have in mind for Randall Flagg?
Terribly miscast.
No matter who they got it should have been an American.
