Cheers Hamish ;) we had a brilliant time mate. I dropped a couple of big fish that day too. I went back last Wednesday and the hooks stayed in :) that video is gonna be coming with the next release of my soft glides :)
Hi mate what line class was the shimano zodias rod you were using. And can you show the jig head you used on the prawn plastics you used it looked different thanks
Hey bro. I was running 6lb in the comp and a short 20lb bite tippet in the end too. The jig head on the clone prawn was a Damiki head. I usually run TT heads. I’ll have to do a run through video of the gear at some stage mate for sure. Cheers.
Hey mate! I’ve done a video on some of the options and what to look for that I think you Might find useful. Take a look ua-cam.com/video/9kzZxZAGhbk/v-deo.html
They've got to rename the comp The JohnnyCostello FH Classic bruz..serious. you promo that event like its your own...more than they do for us punters JC. LoveYaWork as always bUddy.👑💎🤙🏽 Fluro✌🏽
Hi there, I came across your channel by accident. I've really liking so far. I do have a question. During your 2022 flathead classic, you were dropping down a different type anchor. Was it a mushroom anchor or something you made?
I don't know if you remember me and my mates from the flatty classic on the last night we were giving you Lowrance stuff when you were taking pictures of the winners.
Hi Jackson, I generally run TT but that was a Damiki on the clone prawn. I find em soft after a few fish or rocks but really sharp which was what I needed. The head shape fits those prawn lures well too.
@@mylurebox honestly surprised there's not more popularity for one. Granted most experienced anglers can eye ball them I like to pack light for land-based so just one less thing go carry. I'm waiting on mine to be delivered by therodruler but all i could find was ones in inches
Hi love your videos keep it up wondering if you can do a video on how to use the holt swim prawns and motor oil minnows I would really appreciate 😊
hey how did you end up going down at the creek at Yamba. i was the kid you saw there hope your kids got a couple

One of the main things I miss about the east coast, the bartails over here on the west side don’t even come close
Hey mate looking at getting some new sunnies wondering what you recommend for the inshore/estuary stuff, cheers.

Great video John , looks like a fantastic event.
What jig head do you have on the clone prawn please ?
They’re a Damiki jig head. Really soft hook but sharp as and the head seems to be good for those prawn style plastics mate ;)
A wonderful 3 video series culminating in a fun-filled final day.
Great video Question why dont you use and extendible net That would make life easier .

If they extend the comp area to varsity lakes I know a secret spot hahahah
Hahaha. I’m imagining the pro bass boats trying to squeeze through Bond Gates to get a throw in there. Hahaha
😂😂
My spots so secret.... even the fish don't know it.
Shane won the comp great guy he said he used bent minnows
What jig heads do you use
