My composition for day 8 of #jamuary2025.
Prompt: use noise as a starting point or prominent element in a jam.
For this ambient piece, I captured electrical sounds around my house using a Soma Laboratory Ether electromagnetic sniffer. The idea was to imagine solar flare interference on electronic devices as part of a space theme. I edited and spliced the sounds together in Logic Pro, added effects and used them to create a noise layer over which I played a mournful synth melody.
