I really liked reading Grant Cardone's books and listening to him speak. When I found out he is a Scientologist, I was shocked. I couldn't believe it. And now I don't what to think. I was so into his thoughts on leadership and productivity. But knowing he follows Scientology makes me question him and his motives.

There are better leadership role models. 7 Habits is an excellent book to build on principles of self-management and beyond along with any recorded talks and books published by Jim Rohn. More than one Christian has used that line when I point out what a contradictory night mare the Bible is. Christians also seem to be the worst at cherry picking from other esoteric concepts to use their tenets as catch phrases and to stir up fear and hate. That's what really irks me about that "church": the materialism.
In the 90s I was in a room with three Sea Org people and the ED of my local org. I didn't realize at the time but they were recruiting me. I naively and with no intended disrespect started talking about the Nightline Miscavige interview that briefly mentioned OT3 and asked if the volcano on the Dianetics book was about OT3, etc. Everyone except the ED immediately, in unison got up and left the room without saying a word. The ED explained to me that we weren't supposed to talk about OT3.
Question. If they're not allowed to watch negative media, how do the overlords know when someone says the wrong thing? Ie someone at a high level had to have watched going clear.
