- After several weeks off we are making preparations for the upcoming Pro Late Model Race at Richmond Raceway. Last time out there was some roughed up sheet metal and some bent body supports. Nothing a little sweat equity can't fix! On top of repairs we began the install of the DRP Wide Five Wheel Bearing Spacer. The plan is to compare the All-Star version with the more popular DRP made spacer. Keep watching to see which one works out the best!

The voiceover worked well, easy to follow while the video was sped up. Great idea and well done 👍 Now if we could convince Mother Nature to be more of a race fan.... 😆
Trying new things to keep the videos alive! Thanks for the feedback. Mother nature is planning a visit to us Fri Sat and Sun. So time will tell if we will get to the track.
Well if you race these things you will bend them. Especially if you not in the front. Unfortunately the bodies take a toll. Just keep on working to get better
Being in the back is a dangerous proposition for any racing class. This week we are focusing on setup and practice!
Look like that top brace across the filler panel is to tall, and maybe try some of the MD3 lower nose support that go on the lowest front bar of the bumper, should make the nose go farther out and lower with the shorter bar the supports across the filler, the nose supports bolt to the flat peice in the front of the nose
We have used the lower nose supports on our previous cars. The new bumper skeleton from MB had mounting tabs that did allow for the use of the supports. You are right about the t bar under the filler panel. It is a bit too tall and we put 5 degree up bends on the last 14 inches of it. This made it taller for sure. We have it back together and new video should launch tomorrow!
Good to see your videos again good luck at the racetrack
Mother nature won the racing around here over the weekend. We plan to hit up a practice session this weekend to help get us back on track!
Great to see you guys back. Really enjoy the videos. You guys are what makes up the backbone of weekly racing. Good Luck
Thanks for the kind words. We are glad to be back to working on the car and making videos. Mother nature is holding us back from racing but she cant fight us all summer.
Use a heat gun and flatten out the floppee
Gonna have to get more than a heat gun now..... Stay tuned for more content!
Glad to see y’all are back
We needed a break from racing and videos but are glad to be back at it! Another garage video this week with track time weather permitting this weekend.
Swap fender top to other side dummy.
Other fender top was damaged as well. At this point we are just trying to salvage what we have for a few more races.
@@LateModelGarage looks like bend is for left side. That will change how the flopper fits.
Check your messenger on Facebook. I’m local to you all if you need to use a spring smasher. I would also like to get some of my shim packers for you all to use.
We will look at FB tonight. Thanks for your offer to support our racing adventures. We need to spring smash soon to help us keep moving forward.
