Hey man, this is what it should be when you're doing instrumentals, but when doing vocal tracks, combine the vocal version and the instrumental and boost the instrumental out to make the things the vocal doesn't have stick out so you hear the vocals and the things the you can't hear in the vocal to make it sound better than normal. Just a tip
