📍 About Kimchi
In Korea, it's a tradition for people to gather in late November to make kimchi. This is called gimjang, and it's a pretty big deal at the end of the year.
Family members and neighbors get together to make kimchi. Making kimchi is very labor-intensive.
First, cabbage must be salted. Meanwhile, radishes are chopped up and mixed with garlic, ginger, red pepper powder, and other seasonings. This is the kimchi filling. It is spread out between the cabbage leaves.
The fresh kimchi can be eaten right away. This is called 'Geotjeori.' Otherwise, it can be matured for a while. Kimchi made this way is stored in kimchi refrigerators for several months. It is eaten all winter long.
These days, many people buy ready-made kimchi at stores quite often. However, gimjang is still a Korean tradition.

Made me cry when you thanked your mom for making delicious kimchi all your life. My mom is 91 and has severe dementia now. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Now I make those same recipes for her - pumpkin bread is in the oven as I write this. The cycle of life and the rituals of families are priceless. Clearly, you value them as well. Enjoy your week.

В то время, когда в Корее делают кимчи, в России на зиму квасят белокочанную капусту.
Я тоже в этом году стала сама квасить белокочанную капусту.Намного дешевле и полезнее,чем магазинная.Очень люблю смотреть,как вы готовите,убираетесь и вообще просто живёте.У вас замечательная семья,мне очень нравится ваши отношение с супругом и любовь и забота о дочке.
А не знаете рецепт как приготовить кимчи. Только не много не на 150кг.))

Especially in the south of Italy, the whole family reunite to prepare a lot of tomato sauce for the winter! It's a big tradition that is going to disappear but thanks to my mother we're carrying it on :)

Я делаю что то наподобие кимчи, так как не все можно достать.
Люди ее готовят на год,а уменя она почему то пропадает.
А вот насчет слов о зиме- приезжайте к нам, в Россию. Так как я смотрю девушка зимой ходит в душегрейке, и ей уже холодно. А мы в душегрейке ходим осенью и весной.
