Good Morning Melon, Whats up brother 👍 Im looking to buy sora v2 after coming across your review. Ive been playing on the first generation logitech superlight since 2021. I am a claw grip player that just wants a change. Is the sora v2 still worth it? If so, what glass skates do you recommend for it? Also, i fear moving away from the superlight but i also want to experience 35-45 gram mice for 90-110 smackaroons. If you recommend any mice that would benefit me from what i listed, thatll be cool; however, i am 87.9999% set on sora v2 Thanks, WeeToffer
Sora v2 would be a good fit, it's a great mouse (as long as your hand size is correct). For skates the X-RayPad Obsidian Air dots & Ghostglides Mini-Donuts are my personal favorite. Hope that helps
wierd i tried these against the obsidian air pros and the air pros felt more controlled and can use them on both hard and cloth. Wonder if I should wait for the break in period? Not sure why your review sounds like they are so much more controlled !! Ill give them another try thank you
Hi! Sorry I realized I worded this poorly, the Obsidian Air Pro skates are the "slowest" skate out there, but in my opinion they have too high a level of static and braking friction to be usable. The VORTEX's are similar in their controlled feeling, but have a ever so slightly lower friction coefficient, so they're much more usable than the Obsidian Air Pros in my opinion. Hope that clarifies, apologies for the confusion!
Should I buy these if not what skates would you recommend I am using lamzu maya 8k with an artisan type 99 and valorant is my main game I also have never used dot skates what’s the difference W video like always ❤
If you've never used dot skates I'd avoid the VORTEX's as they're a fringe-type skate, plus they're not compatible with soft pads. If you want a good control optimized skate, I'd try the GHOSTGLIDE mini Donuts!
There can be, depends on the pad type. On smoother surfaced like the RUIN or SATURN they have a slight bit of feedback. On rougher pads like the STRIDER they feel much rougher.
@@mel0nFPS oh im getting the lgg jupiter which i heard has a very smooth surface so ill be getting the vortex mouse skates i really love that texture feed back
insanely comprehensive review i subbed ty
Thanks for subscribing, happy you liked the review!
as somebody whos owned vortex dots and didnt really like them at first, looking foward to seeing this video
xraypay obsidian donuts my beloved
being this early is crazy ❤
i would love to try them, but it seems i have to stick to my by basic corepad dots for now 😕

Really interesting skate. Is there a mini donut version available? If it's a Vortex mini donut, I'd like to buy it right away.
No donut version (yet) sadly. But in all honesty even though they're tiny dots these skates add a LOT of control.
@@mel0nFPS Yes, I think Vortex will provide a lot of control just in the form of dots, but you know how attractive donuts feel compared to dots.

@ ok will do thanks
Have you tried these with tang dao? As pad is firm but rough
They're "technically" usable, but the Tang Dao's surface is too high friction in combination with the VORTEX's in my option.
I feel like these dots would pair rly well with something like an Artisan Raiden Mid if someone wants to use that for tacfps.
Yeah they'll significantly slow down pretty much any pad!
I have a razer viper v3 pro and a padsmith temple of dreams v2 should I buy these?
I haven't tried the TOD myself so I can't comment on their compatibility, sorry!
is there tactile feed back?

why valorant tho
I play Val so its the first game that came to mind, but they're good for any TAC FPS
@@mel0nFPS makes sense hahhaha :D
these + jupiter pro + 65cm/360
wait are they good on the jupiter whats the tactile feedback like and the control?
@ did not like how they felt on the jupiter pro. just too soft of a pad for dots this small
