Karbala is not just a historical event; it's a way of life and our greatest inspiration to fight for the oppressed and against the oppressor. When we say Karbala lives today, it's not in a literal sense but through its concepts. Tawalla, Tabarra, and jihad are obligations rooted in action and social responsibility. What better example than Karbala? The Palestinians are facing their own Karbala, the defenders of the holy shrine fought theirs, and those who fought ISIS in Iraq saw their own Karbala, drawing inspiration from Imam Hussain and his family. Our Imam is alive, and Karbala will never end. Karbala lives and breathes through these struggles. These slogans and speeches are not to be taken literally but as sources of inspiration. All revolutionary movements after Karbala have drawn strength from it, not to replace it, but to continue its legacy.
