The lift handle on top of the side of the pack with the pass-through pocket and sleeve could be used for an ice ax or to hold your tomahawk as you pass it through the back of that pocket that would keep it upright or it could be something to hold trekking poles or a shovel handle like you said a bucksaw something like that
For a frame sheet i have 2 of those flexible cutting boards that fit perfectly inside of a padded targus laptop pouch. Fits right into the bladder sleeve on packs that arent made for a frame sheet to help keep the shape of my pack from bowling balling.
I have been eyeing this pack on Amazon for some time. I think for the price, it provides a lot of value for those getting into the hobby. I also appreciate the hybrid tactical / non-tactical appearance of this pack. It could easily flex into either role based on the situation.
That’s a whole lotta pack for very little money. Unlike most “budget friendly” gear brands OneTigris has definitely put out some really good quality gear.
Also I just found a really nice life straw bladder I'm going to try out. It's a built in filter water bladder. Killing 2 birds one stone and saving time. Get the 2l water storage and a built in filter. Can't beat that.
Watched your video, very instructive. Couple things I'd like to have seen on the bottom front of the bag. Some MOLLE to attach a pouch for emergency first aid. I'm a big believer of having quick access to emergency first aid. Especially a tourniquet. Too many do not think about how fast you can bleed out of you cut a primary vein on your legs or inner upper arms. And no matter how well footed people think they are. Everyone stubbles in the woods.
I like the clean look of this bag I have old ALICE and newer MOLLE and there's just too much on the outside you're right, the outside front pockets need a bit more expansion to be fully functional the side pockets look great interested on updates on the long term use of this pack
Awesome looking bag, I have a couple of their tents they work very well. Always look forward to your reviews. Didn't want to sink money in a bag without first seeing it in use. Thanks for the review.
Got lucky on the 45L front, found one in a charity shop (goodwill), looked almost unused, maybe from the 90s. Fantastic shoulder straps, well built, just a regular backpack of the time. The company who sells them still does the same model backpack but it was cheaply made in comparison to this one. OK, no Molle or place for a hydration bladder but I can live without them.
I enjoyed the vlog so much I have now ordered the same bag. I will use it for hiking and photography, just waiting for it to arrive. Good price too. Thanks again PW. See you out there!
Yes those side straps are for ... sliding yr axe / hatchet / shovel / trecking poles ect ect ... like the color to btw , hope to see ya out again using that backpack again and again and again lol 😆
Looks like a great pack last year I got a outdoor gear life time warranty arrow something haven't been able to use it much plus my Dad gave me a Ozark trail pack neither have a spot for a hatchet. My old sing you what ever from Korea marked the boxes and still works but deteriorating the foam and such over the years the bag itself is still great. Also been looking at Teton gear.
If they add a pouch on the front like the Helikon Bergen i would get it. Or even better some molle on the front bottom to give users the choice. A single large strap for the wasit belt would improve the current system. Otherwise it looks amazing
Good job. Thanks for information.i had to buye this bt capacity fulfill my requirement.zits front both pockets depth feel zero bcoz ur pulled out item bit forcely
Great video. Thank you for putting this together for us...much appreciated. Quick question: what is that chest bag you're wearing? I'm in the market for one and yours caught my eye. Thank you again.
Ahhh man....onetigris makes absolutely awesome camping and outdoor gear.. I can't speak for every single pc but of the handful of products I do have..... there holding up like the day I got them.... affordable while being very easy to find and purchase... and most of there stuff looks good... they do a great job with there multi cam.. I'm very surprised you've never heard of them!!!
@@ThePreparedWanderer oh, okay. Will check it out. Another good one is spyderco mule team lineup. Fixed blades with multiple steels. I buy mine on ebay. You generally have to buy blade, scales and Sheath separately. But fun to make your own individual style. Love the videos. 👍
I liked the overall look of the pack...but I think the roll top n no top pocket is a bad call IMHO... The outer pockets would grind my gears when pack full... Your review helped me change my mind... I'll stick with my Savotta jakarri m with side pockets
Lol and this whole time I always thought that bushcraft was the skillset and gear you took out to the woods.... not necessarily the bag..... but it makes sense kinda.... I've been doing bushcraft now quite a while and have gone through tons of diff bags..unfortunately.... most cheaper bags just don't hold up over time.... a couple bags I would love to recommend if I may....eberlestock and mystery ranch make really good i mean really good bags
Hey Wanderer have they updated any thing on the pack do you know I bought one when I first seen it almost a year ago and the pack straps were like a brick very hard not soft at all and same with the back rest the foam was way to hard not comfortable at all I like the design and if they have updated it I might get it again please let me know thanks oh and I think the side loops are for your axe to go through not handles
Ive been using an old burlap sack as a bushcraft bag for some time now, its ugly, not comfortable but works great as robust, container & carrier. But it does make me look like a train jumping hobo, why fight it right? 😂
Question about the kit. Did you have the bivvy with the sleeping bag? Or were you just on the tarp? Also, any pad? Just trying to figure out what I could bring with this kit.
Does anyone know if the back panel has like a plate build in for rigidity? Like as in, that the pack will keep its shape, hard to explain. Thanks in advance!!
You produce excellent videos. Have you ever considered getting into pack goats? Goats eat anything on the trail. They can carry like 60 pounds. When they get spooked they run to you, not away from you like a horse does.

The grab handle on the side is for your axe or shovel

Hey just to let you know that "grab handle" is actually the loop for your axe so it doesn't fall through the opening at the bottom.
That’s a whole lotta pack for very little money. Unlike most “budget friendly” gear brands OneTigris has definitely put out some really good quality gear.

Big side pockets, removable hip belt(sold). Cheers from the South Carolina Lowcountry
great review i’ll be picking this up
Great little bag! Great review!
Great review video! I'm getting mine right now. Thanks
Could you add a shelter/tent in there with all that also?

Just ordered this pack for my bug out bag. My pack I have now is a little small and would rather have the extra space in my pack. Hoping it's OK.

I never said I never heard of them. Ive never seen this bag. Don a lot of OneTigris reviews.
Thank you for the review! Been looking at this one for the past year. Will be wonderful for bushcraft and my SAR bag. Semper Vigilans :-)
can you take this back pack on 3 day trips?
Yes you can pick light
Try odenwolf knife. Great budget knife around 25$. Awesome.
Did a review a few videos back

Great video, one question what type of chest pack are you using.
Thanks
Wade
Did a video on it. Check it out
Nice review. Have you noticed your audio going in and out? It's kind of hard to keep up with.
no other then the wind

Is there straps to hold a sleeping bag externally?
You always find the best gear man lolol I like it ....cheers my friend !
Good review. Thanks for sharing.

tarp, pad, bivy bag, sleeping bag
Hey man, awesome content! Could you tell me what's the brand of your chest bag btw?
Bastion gear on etsy
@@ThePreparedWanderer amazing! thanks
I love your content btw
What chest pack is that? Looking for the same thing with the front molle to attach a sheath for a knife
I have been looking at this pack vs some mardingtop packs.
Id also take a look at the Highlander Eagle 3 or forces packs
@@Mal3ficarum thanks, I just got the Onetigris in, its seems very stout. only problem so far is i packed it to heavy!
What's the difference in a Bushcraft bag and maybe like a "bug Out Bag"? I seem to incorporate a lot of the same gear in my BOB
Much of it is the same.
Good price point
Great review Brother.... Excellent job ... Im ordering one....New Subscriber...
Could you water proof bagwith a spray
You could
This thing would have been great if it had a lid
What chestrig are you using in that video?
Instead of using that rain cover which in a heavy rain is pretty much useless put the things that need to stay dry in a dry bag.
Dude, I don't think that's a grab handle on the side, it's a loop to put your axe through.
Does anyone know if the back panel has like a plate build in for rigidity? Like as in, that the pack will keep its shape, hard to explain. Thanks in advance!!
yes it does
@@ThePreparedWanderer awesome! Properly stiff/rigid?
its an aluminum bar
what's that chest pack you have on?
Last video I reviewed it
I know I’m an idiot😂😂 I literally just seen this😞watching it now
Thanks for responding 😁
Is this 45L bag?
can you remove the waist straps???
Yes
@@ThePreparedWanderer this bag seems like the best big out/survival bag to buy
Doesn't appear to be any way to adjust the spine length...
Also don’t like pocket setup…this bag is not for me, Ty for the review…
You produce excellent videos.

Goats eat anything on the trail. They can carry like 60 pounds. When they get spooked they run to you, not away from you like a horse does.
Because of my knees and other injuries I've been considering them myself.
