I have wild skunk in my yards and are friendly ,kids could go up to it and pet it ,and I have a 8 month old one living with us , not operated and we get no surprise spray ,he really good and the best pet ever , funny and come to me went I call his name
I always just shot them and left them but in all honesty they are not bad to put up I decided this year I'd actually try to catch one to get it tanned. 3 skunks later I have a couple bonus pelts to ship to the auction and plenty of essence for my lures next year. Totally worth it.
Did this skunk spray ? I tried this solution last year on a skunk that sprayed . It did not work ! I even washed him in straight dishwashing liquid. Hi pressure washer also ! Still stinks today... I'll never be able to use this pelt for anything.....
10/15/2022 In the last month and a half I've caught three skunks. Luckily haven't been sprayed. I did not know that their pelt was valuable. I have plenty more to trap so who is going to buy the pelt.

I always have some Hellfire or Gusto left over from the year before. Just mix it in to revive it.
Use your wife's best bath towel to dry it off. That will determine if all odor is removed!

Sure, but doing this first will make the skinning process not so stinky
@@bonewildtv well, it's already skinned. I washed it with dawn to get off the blood and dirt.

Any fur buyer will by a skunk pelt that is prime. Search your area via internet to find a buyer.

How about just leaving them alone, or rezoning them???
Good idea. Youn should come and gather them up and move them to another zone.
