"Outside rock is intended to be around for thousands of years, which is longer than inside rock will be around" Someone please don't tell Ethan about erosion
Whenever someone claims that all art is political and that modern art is better than classical art, I just consider them a person whose brain has rotted away. Think about the man who spent years of his life studying and depicting the human figure in many mediums because it was beautiful to him and got patrons to pay for his art because they also found those depictions beautiful. Then compare it to the man who makes some autistic scribbles on a canvas to represent how capitalism is bad or how he feels when he sees his dog, and then gets to display it in a modern art museum.
This is the correct take. Despite some people trying to argue the best art depends on its message, the best art is truly just what’s most impressive based on the skill required to create it. If it has a profound meaning on top of that, that’s great, but it’s just a bonus. Vermeer’s work is insane, and the fact that he even may have used a camera lucida to create more lifelike art really drives home how clever artists like him probably were. To suggest people like Warhol and Basquiat are even in the same universe as that sort of talent is disingenuous at best.
Have you never seen landscape art or calligraphy? Does all art need to be based in reality with a human figure? If that’s the case, what’s the point of imagination or would photorealistic art be the “best”? What a retarded opinion. You can tell Ethan is someone who has never seen a Masterpiece in his entire life. The modern art he even cited is actual trash.
Calligraphists have studied for years to master their hand writing yet they’re disregarded by you.
You can tell Ethan is someone who has never seen a Masterpiece in his entire life. The modern art he even cited is actual trash. Worse than his politics, Ethan is horrendously unfunny
I like how Ethan is complaining that classical art when commissioned has zero value but modern art getting sold for 30 million dollars means it has some pretentious meaning . Never mind modern art is a literal scam bc rich people will buy these modern art pieces as a tax write off rather than the "artistic merits" it doesn't habe
Modern art exists as a money laundering scheme or as a way for the rich to pay less taxes by donating it
You pay a guy to make slop, get another guy to evaluate it at millions of dollars, then donate it a museum to write all of that off
This is something a socialist like Ethan should be against
Taxes are coercion, it's a shame the rich can avoid it but we middle class have to fund the next bullshit program big government does.
His girlfriend makes/made art on commission, she apperntly scammed some of the people who commissioned her
Bro stole his grandmas glasses
Bunjee's making a BreadTube shit list and he ain't gonna stop til they're all witin his crosshairs
Contra and Chube video when?
"Art by commission is uninspired". As an 'artist', I'll let him in on a little secret: you can SAVE money, so there's no need to push out dogshit just to get food on your table. OR even better - work a dayjob - like most of us do. Also - artist have REQUIREMENTS for taking commissions. Interesting, right? It's almost like we don't want to do something what we don't feel like doing... Hmmm...
If all commissioned art was about money, all artists would be doing is drawing furry porn, because it fucking pays x5+ times more than the regular art.
Just so everyone know, one of the syndromes of autism is seeing patterns in everything, connecting line where there is none. Ethan is online's take on art is actual self report, lol
I don’t think you need to hear this sack of potatoes takes on art to come to the conclusion he has an extra chromosome. Kinda obvious by just looking at him, lol
I have autism and don't share Ethan's dumbass views at all. Maybe it's not severe enough?
"We all need to deadlift tipster" is the best motivational advice I've ever heard.
Also ethan would just say back "gyms and working out are for naught-sees"
"all art is political" isn't about shoving an ideology into art. It's about the person saying it shoving themselves into the art in a way to direct all the attention to themselves.
Ethan isnt bullied enough by people irl
peethan’s underchin is my favourite piece of art, because of the backstory ofc.
you could've just said that his GF has an onlyfans in the beginning that's all you need to know
But how would you tell him apart from the other guy with a terrible haircut and similar lifestyle "choices"?
@@MaxPower-qt3vw One records squirrels and the other is fascinated by walking under rocks.
*Predator trying to touch kids gets caught by a conservative * Ethan: those damn conservatives!!!!!
