This is so fascinating that he thinks this is college level despite how surface level the course content week is. Typically college is more difficult than highschool however this seems like it could be something that could reasonably be a highschool course. College is more intense and is mostly student led. I am deeply fascinated by this.
I like how he is atleast attending what he thinks is a college course. It shows his want to actually learn and just experience what college is. That is the most interesting part about this to me
I know this is fake, but it’s fascinating how it sells itself specifically to him as a college level course. Like if this were a real college class this would be the midterm, where you would want to build up to creating the song and producing it. Like you’d want to delve deep into the mechanics into lyrics and almost want to go into poetry as it is adjacent to songwriting and would get across how rhyme schema work and incorporate that into the actual software side of the class.

Technically there IS a musical about 9/11, it's called Come From Away and is about a town in Canada where a bunch of the planes had to land. And it does have some pretty good music!
That would be about the town of Gander, Newfoundland. The town housed 7,000 passengers for days. They brought the passengers into their homes and treated them like family.
For what Gander did for those people, New York City sent a steel beam from the WTC to Gander as gratitude for what they did for those people.
I just watched a documentary about this story it was really nice how the entire community came together and how close they all became during 9/11.
