Says a nice sentence. If you do not have an EMD 567 then what are you worth ..... Beyond the fact that this locomotive is a work-horse and pull well the sights of New Zealand wonderful. A country I would happily immigrate to!
@@trainfixer1981 It goes up wonderfully in engine up to level 8. I am curious to know how many hours the engine do till replacement of assemblies like pistons and cylinders?
The engine in 1410 was rebuilt by me a couple years ago and this is only its first proper run, so I'd say lack of fossil fuels will stop before the trusty 567! I have just completed the last 4 power packs on 1431 so that should last just as long!
@@trainfixer1981 Well done for the investment in both locomotives. I can clearly see that the engine condition is excellent and you did a wonderful job. Good luck with the DA 1431!!
Awesome video, was an awesome day, pity 1410 couldn't lead at all, but sounded awesome climbing out of Wellington back to Paekakariki!
Cheers! Yes the day was great. Plenty of time for 1410 to lead trips but, on this day it there to do a job!
Why did they put a bloodie DFB on this?

1410 has an easy life these days but, is still able to put in the work when required!
