Hello to you from South France (but on the other side, in the Pyrenees, I live in Perpignan since ten years, despite being a Parisian by birth),
De magnifiques vacances dans des endroits ravissants, cela fait rêver. Monsieur parle français sans presque d'accent, de même que vous, Madame.
Félicitations, car le français n'est pas une langue facile.
I'll continue in English, it will be easier for you. You delighted us, whether it was with the dishes you tasted or the landscapes you crossed.
I'm going to watch your Vlog about Paris since it's my hometown and I spent most of my life there. It will bring back memories of our beautiful capital I love so much.
« Douce France, cher pays de mon enfance, berçé de tant d'insouciance » (Sweet France, dear country of my childhood, lulled by so much carelessness) …as Charles Trenet sings so beautifully.
    Have a pleasant day,

Hello my sweet friend...what a beautiful and wonderful comment 😍 Thank you for watching and for being here 😘 It always makes me happy to meet incredible friends from around the world but especially from my favorite country France 😍😘😍
I would love to hear about your favorite places to visit in Paris since its your hometown. My husband and I both lived in Paris (separate times, we didn't know each other at that time, it was when we were little) he lived there for almost 9 years and I was there for 1 year. I am currently in class learning French and hopefully, I can speak it very soon. It's definitely a hard language, I agree with you..
You made me so happy with you beautiful comment and so lovely having you here..Hope we can connect more.. Lots of love -Sarv ❤❤❤

      @@BySarv Hello again,
Thank you very much for your lovely message.
Your friendly and funny husband said you worked in “Immobilier” (lol).
I myself worked for seven years for a real estate firm (a condominium manager), rue de Provence, in the ninth arrondissement of Paris (very close to Galeries Lafayette and the “Le Printemps” store).
For places that are a bit “different” from the usual tourist circuit, I can, for example, point you to the “Cité International Universitaire de Paris” in the Fourteenth Arrondissement of Paris. It is an astonishing place where you can see 40 buildings, most financed by patrons, industrialists, and foreign governments.
We, therefore, have, from one building to another, the impression of visiting world architecture.
The park also received a star in the Michelin Green Guide.
The best thing to do is type the name into your search engine and perhaps choose a guide to accompany you. This will help you better understand this place and its different architectures.
In the same area, you will also find “La Butte aux Cailles,” a popular area that is relatively unknown to tourists (at least when I frequented this area a very long time ago, lol) and instead frequented by students.
There are many pubs, cafés, and restaurants, but also (from memory) a swimming pool classified as a historical monument.
In the same spirit as the Cité Internationale Universitaire, I also advise you to take a trip to the opposite, in the north of Paris, in Boulogne-Billancourt, to the garden of the Albert Khan Museum.
It’s a four-hectare park, atypical since it’s for a part composed like a Japanese garden. There are even pavilions with Japanese architecture (directly imported from the “Land of the Rising Sun” stone by stone).
But you can also see a French garden, an English garden, and a mini Vosges forest there.
It's so unusual that you can't think you're in Paris.
But rather than making an exhaustive list of places you could visit in Paris, I advise you to visit the “paris zigzag” website. This site includes lesser-known places in Paris and lists the best artisans (restaurants, bakeries, markets, boutiques, etc.) in the capital.
In waiting for the pleasure of reading from you,
      Have a pleasant day,

Hi Beautiful friend… first of all I just wanted to say how happy I am to get to know you. Our dream and goal is to move back to France soon :) we just have to get everything done soon because I am counting down until I move to France.
I can’t believe you worked for seven years in Real Estate ( I knew I felt some kind of special bond and connection with you hahaha) Yes I have been in “Immobilier” for 17 years now and actually just Joined Sotheby’s International Realty which I have visited several location in the South of France and in Paris and met some wonderful people. Wow near Galeries Lafayette and the “Le Printemps?? I know exactly where that is..
Thank you for all your recommendations. I definitely do want a bit “different” from the usual tourist circuit. I have seen all the tourist attractions and now we have been trying to learn where the locals go and enjoy and experience the true “Parisian experience”. I am mostly excited to visit the park you recommended because Parks are my absolute favorite spots in europe :) its also a possibility that when I lived in Paris, our parents took me and my 2 younger siblings to parks and it was our favorite childhood memory. So that plays a big part. I have been to a park thats a bit further out and not a usual touristy place if you saw my Paris Vlog, I do talk about it :) The Paris Vlog from this year. But I also love the Busy parks (my favorite in the middle of the city is Jardin du Luxembourg, I can sit there for hours and hours and read books and just relax. We actually did part of our wedding photoshoot there. Our wedding was supposed to take place in St.Tropez and unfortunately 2020 Covid had other plans for us…hahahah so we ended up doing our 1 year anniversary/Honeymoon/Wedding photoshoot all after the lockdown was over :)
I am saving all of your recommendations for my next visit.
This is so nice I feel like I am writing you an actual letter, you are so wonderful to talk to and I am so happy I met you here :) You are so lovely.
Hope to hear from you soon..Lots of LOVE -Sarv

How is the weather in early October?

    • @BySarv
      @BySarv  5 місяців тому +2

Probably not beach weather but you never know. But super nice still. Not too humid. Not too hot not too cold. Honestly my ideal weather is early October in south of France 😅 definitely could do with 1 layer of clothing but has to be close to riviera. Will get colder if you go up like north of aix en provence. Then you’ll need a very light layer when the sun goes down. But warm during the day. Hope this helps 😅❤️
