I'm so ready for the cool morning temps and the changing of the leaves! Give me a nice hot cup of coffee, a blanket and a book and I will be a happy lady!
I’m most looking forward to Disneyland during the fall. Yes, it’s California, but also yes, the weather cools down, leaves change color (depending on the tree) and there are pumpkins everywhere!
I am so excited for all the Fall recommendations! 🍁🍂 I live in Ohio and it is pretty in the Fall! 🥰 So, I may need to try Death By Hot Apple Cider. 🍎 I am looking forward to the cooler temps, the bugs dying off 😂, and all the colors to overwhelm my senses. 🧡
I am on such a cozy mystery kick right now! I agree with you, the covers get me every time. I have been waiting to start the Scottish Bookshop series until fall. It just feels like a fall location to me too. We have a trip planned to Atlanta in September for a wedding. Not a very fallish location, but we live in Wisconsin where we get lots of fall - cool temperatures, fall colors, corn mazes, pumpkins - and it all goes so fast.
Wisconsin sounds fantastic! I lived in England awhile back, and I first arrived there in the month of September. It was in full fall mode, way cooler than I was expecting coming from Maryland where it was still very hot. Most of the year felt like fall to me there, chilly and rainy:)
I am sooooo anxious for Autumn AND sooooo sick of this summer; 2 wks. ago I got out my Autumn mugs, throws, and decorative pillows, my Autumn tea set and napkins.🙂 I bought The Cider Shop Rules and Death By Hot Apple Cider as well as some other Autumn cozy mysteries. Really looking g forward to reading all. Thanks for the good recommendations 😊
@eileennielsen5165 Autumns not just a season, it's a state of mind🥰 That's actually why I'm posting more than usual. I feel more motivated this time of year!
Hi Stacy! I'm a quilter, I hope you continue pursuing it! The Fat Quarter shop has great tutorials and free beginner patterns. Just checked my library for Cider House Rules, yay, they have it! I think Maine is a great setting for books too. We became friends on Goodreads recently - just want to make the connection 😅. Thank you for these recommendations, looking forward to your next video ❣️📚📖
@junewood3012 Oh nice! I love sewing but I've never tried to quilt. I keep seeing so many fun holiday projects that I want to try. I'm kinda overwhelmed with it all right now, but hopefully I'll get started soon. I'm thinking of starting with a simple quilted tote bag, or placemats. 😊
Cat cozy mysteries are my favorite too! Bad Luck Cat series, Second Chance Cat, and A Cat in Trouble series are amongst my favorites cozy mystery series of all time. I highly recommend them! You mention some series I haven't heard of so I'll need to check those out. Cozy mystery covers get me too! I'm looking forward to pumpkin spice everything!
Great video. Thank you. Quilting is such an awesome hobby, enjoy. Great books. I’m looking forward to the weather, the beautiful leaves, chili, cider, the perfect temperatures, the crispness of the season.
Hello there! New to your channel and a fellow UA-camr and cozy mystery lover. I adore the Cider Shop series or anything Julie Ann Lindsey writes (Bree Baker/Jaqueline Frost) Some of my favorite "Fall" books are Korina Moss' cheese shop series (Gone for Gouda), Shady Hollow by Juneau Black, and Jaine Austen series by Laura Levine. (it has a very sassy cat!) You chose a great variety of books as well. I added a couple to my TBR.. Happy Reading!
What a perfect video! Thank-you so much. I'd just recently wished I could find a list of more autumnal cozy mysteries. I've read The Cider Shop Rules (it's the 3rd in the series, actually, and is autumnally wonderful). And years ago I read The Cat, The Quilt and the Corpse, then 3 others which followed it. Also good. Both these books are very morally decent--and trust me, I'm picky! Thanks again for the recommendations. Today I'll be looking into each of the books you showed us!
@@wanderingwithstacy ---- it's kind of hard to answer your question. I think perhaps the second book did have a couple tie-ins to the third, but nothing major and well, really, to me that second book dragged along in the middle. I did love the first and third books, though, and actually began with the 3rd one which I love so much! (So yeah, see why it's hard to answer your question? ... smile....)
We also have some cool bands as well. When I was in high school I ditched with my boyfriend at the time with a friend we saw Johnny Cash. They have horse shows all kinds of things. And one year my husband and I went we got to see Bouiser from ShaNaNa and I got his autograph
Fun vid! I love cats and all animals❤I've only read two cozies. Recently did a review Matchmaking Can Be Murder by Amanda Flower. it was a cute story and a great buddy read😊
