As always Mads the human element in your images adds the icing to the cake...thank God for the hands that planted these trees so many years ago...for us all to enjoy...they could have never imagined the endless views of awe and the joy our eyes beheld as well as the images taken of these sheltering canopies ...so many amazing places and images waiting to be captured here in the USA...have a blessed day and thank you for sharing your journies...
I lived in San Francisco for 7 years, and went to Point Reyes many times, but somehow I never visited this location! Another reason to go back for a visit. Thanks, Mads!
Really, that's kinda sad, but I think it's normal. When I talk with people from Iceland not many have actually visited all those beautiful nature locations :P
Well I think part of the reason must be that I only recently got seriously interested in photography. Perhaps this location is better known to photographers than it is among the general public? It's not for lack of curiosity - I did many hikes in the North Bay and Point Reyes area and nobody ever talked about the existence of that Cypress tunnel. I'm sure if I lived there now and was looking for places to shoot, my research would have quickly turned up that location. However, now that I live in New Jersey I have to work a bit harder to find beautiful landscapes to shoot - we're not quite as spoiled with beautiful scenery here. ;)
I think it is indeed - I only knew about from Instagram and all those landscape/travel hubs and one youtube video from Adorama with some boys traveling down the west coast. Well I guess you have awesome opportunities for cityscapes then? :)
Cityscapes of New York, sure! I've taken some good ones already from Hamilton Park in NJ looking over the Hudson. But turn your camera facing New Jersey and it gets harder ;)
I saw some of your photographs in a Facebook group, but this is the first time I see a video of yours. Great work, Mads! Keep it up! Greetings from Ecuador!
Wow! I've been to Pt Reyes several times, but never heard of the Cypress Tunnel. Thank you so much for producing these beautiful videos and letting the world know about these unique places. Your not only a great photographer, but a great videographer as well! Love your choice of music that accompanies all of your episodes! Are you planning on doing a Photographing USA Trip #2 in the near future? Would love to see more of these videos and your great photographs!
Thank you very much Steve! One of my biggest dreams are to go back to the US! Especially Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming and up and into Canada and British Columbia :)
Hi Mads, I really like your videos, your great descriptions of beautiful places and particularly the camera settings in your images. Fortunately I've found your channel. :-)
Thanks for the video! Looking for a shoot location and had heard about this place but haven't been yet. Roughly around what time did you take the photo at the end of the video? Hoping to drive there this week to check out. Thanks!
I really like this style of setting up your videos, it makes them really informative, and I think you should keep doing it this way. But how about sometimes mixing in some "vloging-style"/ behind the scenes shots for future videos? Keep it up Mads!
Thanks a lot for the input. I thought about the vlogging style, but the main problem is when I'm "in the field" I have to focus on so many other things :)
Thank you! I’ll plan to visit it next spring.
Truly a beautiful place. I go back a lot.
Yes it is indeed! I would love to return :)
Great video, Mads!
Struck by the captured beauty you have recorded . As Commander Spock once said “ Beauty is transitory “ live long and prosper 🖖

Hehe I can imagine! I don't think I've seen an "artistic" photograph from NJ :)

Hey Mads, just want to double check on your F stop, did you really use f2.8 in the 200mm photo?
Do you feel a ride up there by motorcycle would be difficult from San Francisco?
Absolutely no clue, but I guess not. The roads are fine :)
Ur photo were on my tv😅
