about 250 years after, Cardinal Cisneros lead an inquisition against Jews & Christians burning every manuscript they had!!! he also burned Madrassah Library
Keep in mind there was ancient manuscripts burning during the colonization of North Africa (Algeria 1962 AD)

"From India to Spain, the brilliant civilization of Islam flourished. What was lost to Christendom at this time was not lost to civilization, but quite the contrary..."To us it seems that West-European civilization is civilization, but this is a narrow view." Professor, Reverend, W. Montgomery Watt reminds us in The Influence of Islam on Medieval Europe (Edinburgh: University Press, 1972: “It is clear that the influence of Islam on Western Christendom is greater than is usually realized. Not only did Islam share with Western Europe many material products and technological discoveries; not only did it stimulate Europe intellectually in the fields of science and philosophy; but it provoked Europe into forming a new image of itself. Because Europe was reacting against Islam, it belittled the influence [of Muslim scholarship].... So today, an important task for our Western Europeans, as we move into the era of the one world, is to correct this false emphasis and to acknowledge fully our debt to the Arab and Islamic world." Tim Wallace Murphy, A Templar Historian wrote a book called What Islam Did For Us, on page 215 sums up as follows: "even the brief study of history revealed in these pages demonstrates that the European culture owes an immense and immeasurable debt to the world of Islam. Muslim scholars preserved and enhanced the learning of ancient Greece, laid the foundation for modern science, medicine, astronomy and navigation and inspired some of our greatest cultural achievements. If it were not for the inherent tolerance for the People of the Book that was manifest within the Islamic World for over 15 centuries, it is highly doubtful that the Jewish people could have survived as a racial and religious entity, and we would have lost their contribution to art, medicine, science, literature and music which is almost beyond measure. We in the West owe a debt to the Muslim world that can never be fully repaid. Despite our common religious and spiritual roots, we have thanked them with centuries of mistrust, the brutality of the crusades and imperial takeover that conducted with callous indifference to the needs of the peoples we exploited"

It is said that the 400,000 volumes in its ruler's library amounted to more books than all the libraries of the rest of Europe put together. That was made possible because the Muslim world acquired from China the skill of making paper more than 400 years before the rest of non-Muslim Europe.."

The Quran in Sura (Chapter) 2:223 says:
Your women are your fields, so go into your fields whichever way you like . . . .
9. Husbands are a degree above their wives.
The Quran in Sura 2:228 says:Wives have the same rights as the husbands have on them in accordance with the generally
known principles. Of course, men are a degree above them in status . . .
8. A male gets a double share of the inheritance over that of a female.
The Quran in Sura 4:11 says:
The share of the male shall be twice that of a female . . . .
. A woman's testimony counts half of a man's testimony.
The Quran in Sura 2:282 says:
And let two men from among you bear witness to all such documents [contracts of loans without
interest]. But if two men be not available, there should be one man and two women to bear
witness so that if one of the women forgets (anything), the other may remind her.
6. A wife may remarry her ex-husband if and only if she marries another man, they have
sëx, and then this second man divorces her.
The Quran in Sura 2:230 says:
And if the husband divorces his wife (for the third time), she shall not remain his lawful wife
after this (absolute) divorce, unless she marries another husband and the second husband
divorces her. [In that case] there is no harm if they [the first couple] remarry . . .
5. Slave-girls are sêxüãl property for their male owners.
The Quran in Sura 4:24 says:
And forbidden to you are wedded wives of other people except those who have fallen in your
hands [as prisoners of war] . . .
4. A man may be polygamous with up to four wives.
The Quran in Sura 4:3 says:
And if you be apprehensive that you will not be able to do justice to the orphans, you may marry
two or three or four women whom you choose. But if you apprehend that you might not be able
to do justice to them, then marry only one wife, or marry those who have fallen in your
possession.
3. A husband may simply get rid of one of his undesirable wives.
The Quran in Sura 4:129 says:
It is not within your power to be perfectly equitable in your treatment with all your wives, even if
you wish to be so; therefore, [in order to satisfy the dictates of Divine Law] do not lean towards
one wife so as to leave the other in a state of suspense.

wives (quite apart from whether they actually are highhanded

4:34 . . . If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then

1. Mature men are allowed to marry prepubescent girls.
The Quran in Sura 65:1, 4 says:
65:1 O Prophet, when you [and the believers] divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed
waiting-period and count the waiting-period accurately . . . 4 And if you are in doubt about
those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, (you should know that) their waiting
period is three months, and the same applies to those who have not menstruated as yet. As for
pregnant women, their period ends when they have delivered their burden.

It was revealed in a specific historical context, addressing a particular situation where there were conflicts and threats to the Muslim community from specific groups who were actively opposing them. The verse lays out guidelines for how Muslims should interact with these specific groups under those particular circumstances.
In Islamic jurisprudence, this verse is understood as part of the rules and regulations governing warfare and interactions between Muslims and non-Muslims in certain contexts. It is not meant to be a general principle for all times and places.
and there were ongoing conflicts and treaties between the Muslim community in Medina and various non-Muslim groups who were hostile particularly the Byzantine Empire and some Jewish tribes. It addresses the conditions under which Muslims were to engage in combat with those who opposed them.

Why did the muslims stop writing history?
Ask Hijab this: If Muhammed couldn’t and didn't describe GOD and the Quran doesn't describe who GOD is, how can anybody know, let alone the Muslims? Proof? Answer this simple question: You Muslims tell us that we worship the same GOD? Is that true? What you need to establish is: Who/What is GOD? So the question is: Describe GOD? Describe GOD? No Names! No Attributes! No Miracles! No History! What HE has or hasn't done! Can or can't do! Will or won't do! Using the Quran and the Bible only, write down the title, chapter and verse only. No Text. No Explanations. No commentaries! Describe GOD? Describe GOD? e.g. John ??:??, Sura ??:?? Et al. For more than twenty five years I have asked this question with no proper response, and when they did answer it was exactly what a drater< would say, nothing remotely close to what the question asks? The Muslims can answer the question, but they won’t. Why not? There are many facets to the question, meet all the criteria. If I could have done it, so can any and everybody else do it! Make sure you understand what the question is, before you answer and make a fool of yourself!
To understand what Islam is all about you requiring/needing Spiritual insight/guidance
or as it is known among Christians, Spiritual Discernment. Or the UNCTION 1st John 2:20.
1st Corinthians chapter 2 provides you with wonderful edification.
You have to know who the prince of darkness is, 2nd Corinthians 6:15, Matthew 13:19, Ephesians 2:2, 2nd Corinthians 4:4, etc, etc.
