The happiest guitar solo I've ever heard. At least it makes me happy to hear. A unique favorite of STP.
Yea it’s a brilliant solo, love it!
Been loving this song lately especially the solo, perfect timing! Enjoy learning STP songs, the chords always take me out my comfort zone
Yea for sure, I enjoyed working this one out, enjoy mate!
Exactly, always good to go outside the comfort zone. Learning a few STP songs has been beneficial in building up my chops.
Proving once again why this channel is one of the best on UA-cam. 👏🏼
Ah thanks so much mate! 🤘😊
Love your breakdown of this song! Always wanted to properly learn how to play Lady Picture Show.
Beautiful song, from a perfect album
Absolutely beautiful, nice job.
Hars off to Dean Deleo
This song always make me think of Abbey Road, it would fit right into that album. Magnificent song writing.
Dean uses that Leslie speaker. Im so glad I found your channel!! Well done!
Cheers again mate and welcome!
Perfect song. Perfect vocals, bass line, chords, and guitar solo. Oh, I nearly forgot... perfect lesson. Great job as usual. One of the best channels on UA-cam.
Ah thanks so much Brett! Much appreciated mate 😀🤘
Nice accurate lesson mate. They def channeled the Beatles on this one
I really enjoy your tutorials! I like the fact that you show what pedals to use to get the right tone and sound. It's good that you put the tabs on the screen to show how exactly how to play the song. I was wondering if you could do more lessons on Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Tool, and System of A Down. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the kind feedback mate and lots more lessons to come from those bands soon! Stay tuned 😀🤘
@@LetsPlayAll Outstanding! Thank you very much!
TOOL would be awesome!
@@Sir_Gonzo saw them live recently for the first time, amazing show!
@@LetsPlayAll They are fantastic, hey?!. I got to see them just as covid shut down the tour (Brisbane 20th Feb 20). Invincible was a highlight but they played Forty Six & Two and Ænema. Lost my mind! The best night in a very long time.
One of my favourite STP songs from the Songs for the Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop album. Going to enjoy getting my fingers round this one. Thank you so much, love this channel. 🤘🏼🎸
You’re welcome mate and thanks for the kind words!
Love the songs you choose to cover, awesome song
Hey I like the way you do this. I'm of the tab Era and for some reason seeing it helps me big time. What a great song though right man? And the way u showed how u matched that tone. It's all so great. I'm gonna Def see what else u got. Solo was sick. Love hearing it with effe t added one by 1. It's so dreamy u hardly recognize it acoustic
@@nickysantoro9194 glad you enjoyed the lesson mate! Tabs and other rewards available over at my Patreon.com/letsplayall too if that’s of interest. Lots of lessons on here tho! 🤘
Nice work 🤘
Love the flame on that headstock. I presume the back of the neck is just as good. Great lesson!
It is indeed, it’s a lovely thing! Thanks mate 🤘😊
Oh thank you for this! I’ve waited awhile for a lesson on this
You’re welcome!
All these years I've been playing this wrong LOL. Thx for the video!
No problem!
I love your tone on this one
It's like listening to Stone Gossard play some Stone Temple Pilots
Thanks!
Adhesive please ❤❤❤
Great lesson, thanks a lot
Yesssssssssssssssss
Love your lessons! Hope you can also do a lesson on Glide from STP in the future.
Thank you very much Sir! Another brilliant lesson. You pronounced my last name well. For Simon, you have to do it in French for it to be right (See-moo) but don't worry about it. Take care
Ah glad I at least got the surname right haha I’ll get the first name right next time! Glad you enjoyed the lesson, I enjoyed working this one out 😊🤘
Thanks for requesting this song my B!!
It's a song I'd love to kno how to play and didnt even think about it!
I'd love to see some Blind Melon!
Great job, thanks!
You’re welcome!
Thanks for this. I love this song. Nailed it. If I could make a comment on the part at @12:40, to my ears, it seems that there is a hammer-on mixed into it and it happens twice. Not sure if that was just overtones; it seems that it isn't. Hope you take a look at it :) Thanks again!
Edit: I was wrong. I actually searched for live vid they did and it wasn't a hammer-on but just hitting the 2nd and 1st string in succession. He also never used the 3rd string. What he actually does on the music video is what he does for real, barring the 1st and 2nd strings and playing from that form :)
Thanks mate! Will check it when I get time 😀🤘
@@LetsPlayAll Oh wow. I never imagined you'd still be reading comments after a year haha! I'm so gratified!
You have an awesome channel! I've been trying to nail this song for most of my life ever since the album came out and your video finally allowed me to do so after 25+ years, just 2 minutes ago! I am so elated.
What I thought were hammer-ons seem to be 2 slides (or one hammer and the next slide) from the 11th to 12th done twice in the transition between the 1st and 2nd halves of the particular part.
So with a bar over the 1st and 2nd strings, it's like 1st at 12th to 2nd at 16, 1@12, 2@14, 1@12, 2@12, 1@12, 2@14, hammer 1st from 11 to 12, 2@12, slide 1st from 11 to 12th, 2@14, 1@12, 2@12, 1@12, 2@14 etc.
I don't think I can sleep tonight. Thank you so very much!
@@LA-qv1ir haha you’re welcome, I read and try to reply to all the comments 😀🤘
Great you’re enjoying the lessons so much and thanks for the kind words mate! 😀🤘
The chorus second chord is played slightly differently by Dean pal. X 9 7 9 10 x. He does love his jazz chords! Awesome video though dude. Love your tone guide especially.
Cheers mate! Yea I think you’re right, there’s some variances to chord shapes throughout as there’s two guitars playing but I went with how I saw them play it acoustically and one guitar just plays the std Dom7 shapes 😊🤘
Awesome man can you do a lesson on Coma by Stp?
Hey man, nice tutorial! Could you please do a tutorial on I Cant Have You Blues by Alice In Chains! That’d be awesome!!
What brand and what models of guitar is it
Seth Baccus shoreline t 🤘😊
Definitely playing that riff wrong
