This was a journey of a lifetime. You have done what most people never even attempt to dream. I was mentally invested in the journey throughout the 26 episodes. Great content Liv and the team. Patrick did such a good job with videography, driving, and the manly tasks, and you had such an amazing company with Adia and Jane too. The narration was on point and you got extensive knowledge especially on geography. You showed different aspects of the 9 countries in such a pure manner, and now I feel as if I have visited them. This trip just upgraded my bucket list and now I have to start planning for my own version of the trip. Also, I did not like Subaru before, but now seems that will be my next car for such great adventures. Cheers!
Comment from a mzungu and frequent traveller in East Africa and beyond, the bongo of Africa is definitely Kenya but Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries of not only EA but the entire world, and I have been around. Thank you LivKenya and company for this beautiful roadtrip, it has definitely inspired me for future trips to make with my woman and hopefully wife (kenyan) around EA and Southern Africa. Thank you so much, asante mara elfu. Karibu Kenya, karibu Afrika. Call us mzungus or afrikans, we are all looking for the same and East Africa is what we are looking for. The one who knows, knows. This is a journey through paradise! 💗
Thank you so much for your kind words, @Captain Mzungu. Tanzania is indeed beautiful and has a lot to offer. I wish you and your future wife safe and happy travels across Africa.
You guys confuse yourself by the word Brain of Africa and Bongo , bongo is AKA of Dar es salaam ( Bongo Dar es salaam ) it means you can’t survive in this this big city without using your brain , The brain of africa actually comes from our freedom fighting history Where Julius Nyerere plays a big part helping most of african countries get their independence without war Is not like how you comparing like how fintech , economy or infrastructure looks like if it was like that Nigeria Egypt or SA could be the brain of Africa
@phoncechriss thanks for explaining all that. But, where did you hear/read what they're thinking? They were just wondering why TZ is referred to as Bongo
I am from Venda (Mzansi) and I am so happy that you made it home safely. This is the most interesting road trip series I've watched so far and I enjoyed it immensely. It gave us a perspective about Africa, its people, challenges, and its positives. Some of us were so addicted to this channel and I wonder what are we going to watch next. Wish all the best to the four of you and the other team you start the journey with. I salute you guys.
Thank you so much for your kind words, @tshililonekhavhambe. I am glad that you enjoyed the series. The trip was quite enlightening and humbling. The lessons we gathered from the trip could fill a book. What I can conclude, however, is that Africa and its people is kind. We have more trips lined up this year and we will keep you engaged with videos.
Am a Malawian and I was impatiently waiting for this final episode. I have got tears in my eyes to see you approaching your final destination. I wished you could continue visiting more countries. It has been a few weeks full of discoveries. I do agree with you now that Africa is very beautiful and rich. But it's unfortunate that Africans don't see that. I believe your initiative to show us around has changed many people mindset about Africa. Long live Africa, long live your team. Please plan another tour soon. Love you all and will miss you lot. Till then, remain blessed.
Amen to that. The ending was emotional for us too, Hilderbert. I wish we had more time and finances to extend that trip. We had such a great time. You have a very beautiful country and we will be back someday to explore it some more. Thank you for the love and support. God bless you too and stay tuned for more adventures across and beyond our beautiful continent.

By the way let me say this itoke moyoni, in 2010 i was in class eight in Iiani primary, so headteacher planned a trip to Tsavo National park, we were to pay 1000 per head. Capetown series was awesome. Every episode was better than the last. Congrats you made it! That moment when the screen finally read 'KENYA', that was my undescribable moment. Welcome home guys.
You people are the real deal! Every bit of your trip was amazing. After each episode, I was restlessly waiting for the next one. I am totally inspired to do a similar trip soon but I wont take as much soft drinks as you people did, haha. Thank you very much for recording and sharing everything. God bless you!
Thank you so much for following this journey, Tim. You will enjoy such a trip. Good luck avoiding soft drinks🤣🤣🤣. I think we were mostly curious about trying out the different flavors.
You are welcome@@LIVKENYA. You have made it way more achievable by your content. On the drinks, you all enjoyed them and you should thank God for the great bodies coz none of you came back with any evidence of the indulgence 😜😜😜.
Had commented on the resilience of the SUBARU earlier, truly "confidence in motion" Loved the series, followed you all through, Whoever developed the sound track for the videos big up for the great talent. Pongezi tena team liv Kenya. "Garden route" mostly sounded like Guardian route." Kongole tena.
There wouldn't have been a better style to end this. Feels like am missing you guys already. The theme song was equally on point. Even though I wasn't with you physically, emotionally, I felt present. One day, hoping to join you on a trip towards the North of Africa.
The ending was bitter sweet indeed,. Thank you so much for joining us virtually. You are welcome to join us. We have listed some of the trips we have lined up for this year. Please check them out.
I have enjoyed every episode, actually this's an inspiration to me, it has changed my whole thinking about traveling, infact like here in Uganda.. when you talk of traveling.. people think of Europe, America, Canada, Dubai etc.. yet we can even start within our our countries.. this's a game changer... Big up liv.. and all your colleagues especially that lady who always have information to so many places and geographic features and Patrick send my shout-out 😊

Hope you will get bluetooth mics for good audio. I agree with you Liv, Lake malawi is under utilised, theres potential for tourism and even farming, value addition for crops like mangoes, but just like you have said; it is a step at a time. Loved every bit of this adventure.
Where next? To the West and North? Can't wait. You had always researched your trips and this made the experience valuable. You are opening our eyes to our Africa. Thank you.

One thing I’ve noticed about this whole trip from Nairobi to Cape Town and back (and it’s probably something that added to your traveling convenience) is that in all the countries you traversed, drivers keep to the left side of the road and so when crossing into a new country, you don’t get confused on which side of the road you’re supposed to be driving on! And I have to say the whole series together with your soothing background music (float away by Neovaii ❤😘) has been very interesting and eye opening series for me personally ❤️👌 I really enjoyed SA the most out of all the countries! 😊 You now have a special place in my heart LIV, together with your crew 🥰❤️ Definitely looking forward to more series like this from you!
Thank you so much for following this journey, @Our10picks18. I am glad you enjoyed the series. Driving on the left side of the road was a plus. We have driven on the right side of the road in Rwanda and it was difficult at first, I must admit. Stay tuned for more trips to come.
Amazing. Thanks a lot once more for sharing your African adventure with us. Because of you I can have a climpse of our beautiful continent and will try myself to visit as many countries as I can in Africa. I really wish you all the best and much love to you.

A perfect blend of wanderlust and joy! I enjoyed too. Been following your road trips from the trip of Jade Sea with the Cruiser till now. From this trip just noted you used less of drone and international DL. Just to enlighten would like to know a ruff estimate cost for trip 🎉

Amen. We thank God for the journey mercies. Thank you for following this journey, @NargisKadiry
Best road trip I've ever watched!
Thank you.
First time seeing the malawi rift Valley just spectacular
👌🏾👌🏾
One thing I’ve noticed about this whole trip from Nairobi to Cape Town and back (and it’s probably something that added to your traveling convenience) is that in all the countries you traversed, drivers keep to the left side of the road and so when crossing into a new country, you don’t get confused on which side of the road you’re supposed to be driving on!
And I have to say the whole series together with your soothing background music (float away by Neovaii ❤😘) has been very interesting and eye opening series for me personally ❤️👌
I really enjoyed SA the most out of all the countries! 😊
You now have a special place in my heart LIV, together with your crew 🥰❤️
Definitely looking forward to more series like this from you!
Thank you so much for following this journey, @Our10picks18. I am glad you enjoyed the series. Driving on the left side of the road was a plus. We have driven on the right side of the road in Rwanda and it was difficult at first, I must admit. Stay tuned for more trips to come.
All those countries had one colonial master at some point. That's why they all drive on the left.
@@likatalikata3823 Mostly British but Namibia was colonized by Germany
I have watched the entire series from the first episode to this last . Well done guys !
Thank you so much for the support, Faith.
