It has been all too many years since I saw this. A time before I even understood english that well, to now understand everything before me. Everything looked so different to me with that mindset and understanding I had, back as a kid. Seeing this from a demo and not understanding how demos worked, I always hoped to play this someday. Not because of the mere gameplay, but for the theme around it. Thought watching this would somehow allow me acces to the game, but it was merely but a "behind the scenes" material, for the demo disc I own. Now knowing of Devil may cry, with that in mind of a creator behind it made this as well, makes all of this even more mindblowing. How things come back to one another is pretty mindblowing, to say the least. All in all, this is nostalgic to see once again.
The first time i've seen this was in a demo disk from playstation magazine. It's nice to see it uploaded here on youtube because the game has an interesting history behind it, from the perspective of a western gamer who is not very "versed" in midieval japanese history that is.
14:22 exactly this guy should of said that in genji 2 e3 now everyone just made that game about the giant crab 😂 genji 1 was better they shouldn’t have rushed genji 2 I wanted genji to be a known PlayStation series
A fucking underrated game. Just played yesterday, it was a beautiful experience.
