I was blessed to see Ama Luna about 15 years ago in NJ. PHENOMENAL! I played the CD forever! The “ bad guy “ that was a Lizard was perched above me on a pole in the audience, he then leaped down and stole a patrons bag of popcorn, ate some. Then proceeded to throw it at everyone! This was before the show began! AWESOME! ❤️❤️❤️

Fue una experiencia decepcionante: no había animales amaestrados, no había payasos, los números de acrobacia eran los mismos de siempre que se pueden ver en cualquier circo. Lo único novedoso, la vestimenta de los artistas y el decorado, muy bien hechos y sugerentes. No estoy seguro de que haya valido la pena pagar lo que pagué por ese espectáculo.

Hmm... Over the years, I have seen all the Cirque du Soleil shows performed in Las Vegas plus a couple more outside Las Vegas. They were outstanding! This video, dated June 1, 2024, assumably promotes the latest Cirque du Soleil productions. It has been seen by over 800,000 people and only 7000 of them actually liked the video, that is not a good ratio. And I agree with the ones that didn't like it. If that is what Cirque du Soleil is offering us now- it is on a great decline!!! No, don't get me wrong, each artist and their acts are top quality. It is everything else, which makes it a memorable show (story, design, costumes, creative ideas, innovations, music, makeup, etc., etc...) sunk down into a void. The entire video is very disjointed and confusing. If it represents the best parts of each show, I don't want to see the rest. I am not asking why a brilliant production team sliced and mixed several shows into a soup that doesn't make sense, and chose several parkour and areal acts for the video? I guess, nothing else just doesn't cut it. I found that ten men fondling, handling, tumbling, etc... one woman is a bit vulgar. If you make an effort to use an ice arena, and place artists on skates - you better do something spectacular on it. Girls with hoops and a girl on a trapeze found each other in the desert by sheer accident, what a random act of fate... In "Hoop Diving" if it is decided to play with wet hair- the artist better have a lot of lash hair. Give him extensions. However, if the water from his hair gets on me- I will leave the show. The most impressive part is the tiger puppet!!! But overall it is a very disappointing presentation. Period! (btw, I am not just a grumpy old man, I worked in the entertainment industry for over 40 years) LOL

I hope people of Québec enjoy this because like it or not THEIR TAX DOLLARS are always sent to this Capitalist Venture to cover their wages and losses.
