Thanks Natalie,. for such perfected playing. You must have a metronome built in your head. I am not a pianist, although I do appreciate your music. Thanks, Josh, for the IT factor you perform so well. I especially enjoyed the words on the screen. Thanks, Emilie, for watching the children and introducing me to emojis 😊 a few years back. Listening in Mechanicsville, VA. at 79=years of age.
Thanks so much, Natalie. I've got two "Life Songs No. 2" hymnals on order, and I'm working on Hanon, VERY slowly, after not playing for almost 25 years (and I wasn't very good to begin with). Oh, and I'm doing wrist mobility and flexibility exercises every day too. It's amazing how weak my left hand has become...it even affects my rhythm. When I feel I've got the basics back, I'm going to take your course.
Love this song. Did you have a background instrument as well? You play so beautifully. I have a piano and my mom played it so well. She played by ear too. Her mom, and grandpa all played by ear as well. One person from each generation had the gift. I too play by ear and I played with my mom all the time. It’s what I miss most. Hearing her play was my favorite thing ever. I don’t play as well but this past year I have been really working on it. It’s been rough. But I love the piano. I inherited my mom’s piano and it is the most important heirloom I’ve ever had.
