    Glad that worked out for you Major.I did the exact same thing for my 2003 Ram 1500.I think they charged me like $10 for that module at my local U-Pull.

      I believe they charged me 15.00. Glad I had a twin to verify before digging in those filthy junkyard jeeps!

    0:42 - If you loosen/remove the retaining bracket on the AC receiver/drier, you can rotate it up and out of the way while still leaving the refrigerant lines connected. That's how I did my blower motor. Even so, it's still a pain, but it makes it slightly easier.

    replaced my heater core about a month ago, my airbag light has been on ever since. we plugged everything thing back in. and it’s not the clock spring. not sure what it can be, any thoughts ?

      When you remove the heater core you have to take out the passenger airbag. Possibly something with that circuit. If not then Possibly try this module i show in this video. Should only cost a few $ at junkyard

    Hey Major, I got a question about my 99xj. I was installing my RC seat covers like yours. I removed the seats to do them. There was a small harness that was under the drivers seat. I had to disconnect it to remove the seat. It looks like the wiring could have possibly went under the carpet up to the center console. Is that harness to my airbag? If so, I did not disconnect my battery before disconnecting that pigtail. Should I still be good? Just asking before I start the Jeep. Thanks, God bless!

      You should be fine. I do think the wire is for the seat belt pressure to the airbag module. I disconnect mine and reconnect with no issues. But to be completely safe it's always a good idea to disconnect battery. Just a few minutes for a piece of mind.

    Ques... My airbag light is on also, and my horn doesn't work either, would this be clock spring or the module control unit?

    • @MajorWeakness
      @MajorWeakness  Рік тому +1

      Since both not working my guess is clock spring but I would trace wires to make sure horns and horn relay works first

      @@MajorWeakness went to my local pick-n-pull, which normally had 4-5 XJs... Usually late models... Only 1, a stripped '91...lol. thanks for the info. Clock springs with CC are hard to find.
