In real life you can hold on to the wheel in a crash like this without anything bad happening to your wrists because of power steering. Nico Rosberg talked about it and said that he doesn't do it but Lewis and some other drivers do it. I find it weird that that's not simulated properly.
Peaks through PS can still be about 30Nm, as opposed to 70Nm+ unassisted. It's not simulated because most wheelbases can barely do the friction in a rack let alone the clipping torque for racecars.

Honestly there is no reason to play at full torque, just go to around 12-15nm and you're fine, even in an F1 car.
