Dogs D'Amour - Drunk Like Me Album - King of the Thieves (1989) Glam/Sleaze Metal This a fan made clip it is NOT the real videoclip Hope you like it =)
I remember when these guys, Quireboys and Marionette used to support us when they were starting out...many a time BamBam used to use my kit and Tyla used to do our artwork - we were The Gunslingers...great fun days!!
I USE TO ROADIE FOR TYLA AND THE GUYS BACK WHEN THEY USED TO REHEARSE NEXT TO THE STREETS OF LONDON PUB IN A OLD CELLAR AT HAMPTON COURT BACK IN THE 80's
not entirely true. im 22 year old lad and it makes me sad to knos there isnt music like this being made anymore almost makes me wanna cry........... i hate i. My mum used to drink with these guys and party with them in the west end a long with bands like the lords of the new church and most imressively, T. REX she actually was in a relationship with Mickey for 4 years back when she was 20 years old. she has a few bits of membrobelia like mickeys old red bandana he used to ALWAYS wear along with a few photographs etc . i wish i could go back in time to these days when music was real, what was sang into the mic is what came out the speakers, these days whats sang into a mic goes through a computer first then comes out the speakers sounding completely different to the shit that came out the persons mouth.
I remember queuing up outside the Liverpool branch of HMV the morning that A Graveyard Of Empty Bottles was released (March 1989?) and then when I bought Straight a year or so later from the same shop it had a Jagged Edge album inside the sleeve so I had to go all the way back on the ferry ! ;)
doesn't matter what anyone does or tries to do, there will NEVER EVER be another DOGS 110% best of British! remember bristol, portsmouth, london (many times) cardiff, 3 months on the road best time of my life, unfortunately never to be repeated!
Saw these guys late in the day, at the revived Donnington Monsters if Rock, Dogs Damour, were down in Cardiff CIA. Great band, the most underrated band, who like the Quireboys would have turned the USA, upside down
Did a mix tape for a girl I was seeing at the time, which included this song. Apparently her grandad went craxy when she put in on the car radio/cassette player (google what one of those was if you're too yong!) he thought the lyric was '...for a c*** like me'
I used to drink in the Laurel Tree in Camden where my mate and I were the only customers... until Tyla strolled in with his lady friend... seriously, no wonder that pub closed!
i owe a lot to these, rememeber leeds, album signing in crash records,on the jd n bud, they were fucking wankered by the time they hit the stage but still outstanding!
This group is awesome \m/ it's strange lol but a lady my mum works with used to roadie for this group "before they were famous" and the singer used to have this ritual that he would always have a bowl of pea soup before he went on stage lol
Como me hubiera gustado que Guns N Roses(y me refiero en especial a Axl Rose) hubiese seguido más esta línea Stoniana/hard Rock y no las cosas que está haciendo con Guns hoy..
Hmm... there is no more Dog's the band split years ago. There was a brief reunion some years ago but the Dogs are over. Tyla is still doing his own thing under the Dogs name, but he doesn't even own the name, but nobody else can be assed to sue him for it. He's good anyway. The Dogs are long finished.
Love their Blusy Rock N Roll! One of the most underrated bands ever! They should have made it big! Greetings from Mexico!

I saw the Gunslingers play a few times,I think at the Marquee, the Hammersmith Clarendon and the Kensington pub and elsewhere,I heard the singer died?
Guys, -you were there, right time, right place. I owe a big part of my life to your songs. Respect! 😎
I USE TO ROADIE FOR TYLA AND THE GUYS BACK WHEN THEY USED TO REHEARSE NEXT TO THE STREETS OF LONDON PUB IN A OLD CELLAR AT HAMPTON COURT BACK IN THE 80's
Met these guys in 1989 Roxannes In Toledo Ohio. They let us hangout with them on the Bus. Totally Awesome. Long Live The 80s.
One of the greatest bands of all time.
one of the best bands the UK has ever produced
A fantastic song takes me back to a wonderful time.
why cant there be more bands like this now :(
+jon linc Because the only type of music that people want these days is generic pop music or cheesy dubstep

Great song, pity there isn't a proper video for it.

Funny lol. Definitely
'Underrated', yes maybe but was a bad contract with Geffin Records. Not enough publicity. No money. Fun whilst it lasted though.

This just can't be called metal! Great song though.
is it just me, or his voice sounds like Willy Deville, like a copy
Great band name.
It's a shame the music is Poison shit.
Whatever 😂😂😂
It's nothing like Poison, wtf are you on 🤣
